Snakes belong in the woods! NOT in my garage!!
I first received this stuff from a co-worker after I complained of being greeted by a Black Snake in my garage! I didn't want to kill it because I know how beneficial they are to catching small rodents and I live next to a large field surrounded by woods. Earlier this summer, I sprinkled some around the perimeter of the garage doors and Mr. Snake stayed away UNTIL it rained. We've had heavy rainfalls this summer here in Ohio and I forgot to put some more down. Lo and behold, there he was, back to the same spot he favors. I sprinkled this around him and on him. He didn't like that at all!! Now he's gone and I'm happy and not nervous about opening my garage door. I just have to be consistent about putting this down especially after a heavy rainfall. All in all, I'm very happy with way these granules irritate the snakes so that they don't want to come back.

Seems to work well
So I hate snakes and bought this thru Amazon because it was sold out locally. Had to use the product twice this season but since the snakes love my front porch I thought it was a good investment. They go elsewhere..seems to work 5 weeks out from first application...and reapplied after seeing a baby garter. Good for foundation concerns and rock garden areas.

It saved our Black Snakes!
We live in an area where Copperheads are fairly prevalent so we try to preserve our Black snakes to keep the population under control. However, we did not want them to be in the crawl space under our house (and, by the way, it is a new home). That is the reason we bought Snake-A-Way. It does have an odor but it is only offensive for a short time. We have strawberry and blackberry beds that we have covered with "critter proof" netting. However, I am sure that it did not keep the Copperheads out so our Black snakes got wound up in the netting trying to get to them. After placing a dose of Snake-A-Way in those two areas, the Black snakes have stayed where they belong. Out there killing the Copperheads.
