It's not QUITE identical to that confection, but it did the job. We used the lid of the tin as a knife to cut the cake in wedges, and used our fingers to get the wedges out. If you go this route, have a wet wipe handy -- the cake is moist and your fingers will be sticky.I'd never thought "I need cake, trailside" before, and now? I can't imagine NOT wanting cake, trailside.It is a small cake.

The first time I ordered this product, it tasted like an almond flavored butter cake and was yellow in color. I realized that it was very pricey, but decided I wanted another one (since I had to share the first one with my husband).The second cake arrived in the same box as the first, with a picture of a yellow cake on it. Well, when I opened it, imagine my surprise at discovering the cake was brown! It also had a distinctly different flavor. I’m not a fan.I messaged the company, but never received any reply. I guess I’m just too stupid, but I thought that maybe they had just made a mistake in packaging. So I ordered yet a third one of these overpriced cakes, and received yet another brown (different flavored) cake in a box that clearly shows the product as being yellow in color.I would not recommend this cake to anyone - unless you like expensive, lackluster surprises!

Meh. Overpriced and not all that good. Nice texture, but not much else going for this. At this price, it should have been memorable.

First of all, I was a little surprised by the small size. For the price, I was expecting it to be a little larger.That being said, it was delicious. I have a sweet tooth but I like my sweets a little muted. This was great.I probably will not order again due to the price. But it was good.I subtracted one star due to size.If you don't mind paying the price, you should try it.

This is a very authentic and really delicious. The package is not a great representation of this excellent product. . Perfect portion and the ingredients are simple and natural. Will definitely buy again and highly recommend!

Please do NOT buy this item. It was rotten old. The butter that was used to make the cake was soooo old and tastes more like an aged blue cheese. Horrible.
