Good, but qc is poor..
The media could not be loaded. Frame came twisted or welded badly. Still will work. Only lifts half of the travel oddly enough. So it won't lift a pickup truck door. It will work for my purpose. I will likely fix it.

Lots of modifications, not worth it.
Works on cars and trucks, they have to be small sub compact cars for it to work. Won’t work on an SUV. Jack doesn’t go high enough. The arms for the top of the door don’t go out far enough. Jack leaks. The garage floor is level the jack forks are level but only one jack fork hits the bottom of the door. Have to shim under one side of the fork lift where the bolts go through so it makes contact with the door. Have to add an extension on the head of the jack for it to go up higher. The threads on the two bolts for the top of the door were damaged. Modified the top where it clamps onto the door. Both straight clamps will not work. By the time I did all the modifications and running around looking for supplies to do modifications I could have bought a better device. Once I did all the modifications it did work, surprisingly.

Expect to have a few problems
Out of the box wasn't happy with it. Poor final checks on this allowed a lot of initial but fixable problems. Unit was not high enough for pickups or 4x4's, 3/16 bolts to hold the jack in place. Rubber strips were coming off and the unit needed to be adjusted to make it level. I almost sent it back but I looked at it more closely and found the welds were good so I proceeded to modify it to my liking. As William did, I added a 2x4" square tubing to raise the bottom which helped quite a bit. Next I modified the upper adjustable arm height by adding a section of 3/4" tubing which give me more height for taller doors. The extra height gives me the ability to work on other body parts like hoods and rear deck lids as well. After straightening out the problems and modifying I'm happy with it. Quality control needs to be a lot better on this equipment.

You need this to change hinges on cars.
Just wish it would work on pickup truck doors, needs to adjust higher for them. Easy to assemble, easy to use.

Three Stars
Good price, but would like a little more range of lift. Bottle jack doesn't raise to high.

Increasing height is simple mod
Checking with the vendor prior to purchase I discovered the lift's maximum height might be close when removing and reinstalling my 2001 Chevrolet S10 door to replace the bushings but I also confirmed that the height could be increased with a simple modification. As you can see in the picture a 4" wide piece of reinforced channel iron (painted white), drilled for bolting on the same centers as the factory fasteners is all it took to get the proper lift range for my doors. Tool then worked great at much less cost than the alternatives I found in other brands. Debated just laying a wooden 4X4 on top of the lift forks but opted for metal and bolts. Note that the top bar can go through an opened window to hold a lifted door.
