The weight and size are perfect for my large paintings. I can't wait to get started on a couple of projects that I've been planning for some time.

Canson sells this paper in a 4-foot roll, wrapped in plastic. However, Amazon put the roll in a box with no packing material (e.g., cushioning, bubble wrap) at the ends. Both ends were badly and irreparably crushed, such that I couldn't use it for artwork, as intended. More than an inch on either end were permanently wrinkled.

While it does work well for a custom size painting, I found it best to use small sample of the paper to test my colors out on before hand as they don't all come out the same as painting on watercolor canvas

Great value and quality. It’s a little like wrestling to get it unrolled and cut, but aside from that, I will always buy it this way.

Same weight and quality than higher priced art stores. This extra wide watercolor paper is at a good price. Staying home and saving money is a win-win.

It is ok. Mine was 47 inches wide rather than the promised 48 inches.I am a full time professional artist. I probably won't order again.

Ordered this a couple weeks back and tore through the entire roll quick because I loved the paper so much.It's thick and heavy, but not a crazy amount of tooth. Smooth, it still absorbs a lot and because of the weight it has less of a chance of warping. So far I've used acrylic and ink to great delight.If you're looking for a solid roll of high quality versatile paper to cut to size, definitely check this roll out. I already ordered a second and likely will order at least two more for a current project I'm working on.iamwessel.com
