Why my heading because before l decided to purchase the running boards for my BlueJay , l read and found that the runners came with no brackets therefore when l bought mine l bought both things then when l received them l saw the boards were primed therefore l had to take them to get painted then to be installed. so the moral it that when you write your experience you help someone else.a) buy boards along with Bracket package (Owens 2188-01 Gla Step Fiberglass Running Boards) (Owens Product 101023 Bracket)b) get them paintedc) installed and your set. lm very grateful to all those before me that helped me get better informed and l also got the Rain guards, bug deflector so my baby is beautiful and lm happy.D) Curt 13364 class Trailer Hitch.shes a Chrysler Town & Country Touring Gas Stow -N-Go 2013l hope this will help make your buying experience easier.

Looks great but you need to paint it to make it look good. Not so easy to install as youtube videos would suggest. My garage said brackets needed to be welded on, a big job requiring two days. Took it to my auto body shop, and it took them 4 hours to get them on. Just because it say "will fit your 2014 Chrysler Town & Country" doesn't mean it would be easy. The running boards cost me roughly $300 with another $100 for brackets, then $425 to have them painted and mounted, a lot more than I expected. But they look good and seem to do the job. My father is 92 and drives and he needs the help. The only problem I can see from here on is the clearance from curbs to the running boards. Trying to parallel park with a higher than usual curb could rip the boards to shreds, after all they're only fiberglass. Hope they last.

The running boards look great and make the van far easier to enter and exit for my 5' wife. The only criticism I have is that they did NOT come with any mounting instructions for the brackets. My body shop guy did finally figure it out, though, and the completed project looks great and is well worth the price. As others have mentioned, they are low to the ground - you need to watch out for curbs. The running boards are adjustable (in and out) so you can adjust how far they project from the vehicle when you are mounting them, which is nice.

The running boards are good,$300. BUT we had to have them painted..$275. $100. to have them installed. $100. for the brackets. Finally they are on and I do like them.

the hardware should come with the run boards.you know the color of the van in advance .so you should all ready have them panited

Should have INCLUDED the brackets, so that I didn't have to pay extra for those. It's bad business if you ask me. It's like buying a chair that has no legs. The legs are an extra charge.
