This bread box is so cute! I used to have a basket on the counter, but this bread box is so much better. Great farmhouse decor, nice and sturdy holds a loaf and a little bit more so not a very large bread box, but just perfect if you are trying to neaten your countertops and keep your bread secure. We have a new kitten and really needed to have something that he cannot get into. The bread box was perfect for that.

This is really cute bread box but expensive for what you get. It is a gift for my husbands birthday. I’m not happy that the lid does not close evenly. I expected better quality.I contacted the seller I hope they respond with a solution.EditI’m revising this initial reviewI contacted seller straight thru the card inside the box that I noticed later and they are amazing to work with. Product is exactly what I expected and I am very happy with it.

The bread box smaller than I thought. It is slightly longer than a loaf of store bought bread. But I like the country style and it matches the black country style canister set I bought it to match.

Ten stars! I bought and returned a few other bread boxes and this one is the clear winner. I really wanted a wooden box but they all smelled toxic and I wouldn't dare put my freshly baked bread in those. I opted for this one and I'm so happy did. I put my sandwich loaf inside for about a week, with no additional covering aside from the box itself and it stayed amazing fresh as day one. I would highly suggest this box if you are looking for a way to keep your bread fresh.

I’m really glad I chose this one! It’s sturdy, and looks so cute on my counter. I love the look of it. I was looking for something rustic, but functional. It doesn’t have holes to allow air flow, but where the hinge opening is, it has small holes that allow some air to flow through. This thing is magic tho, I have had the bread in it now for almost 2 months, and they’re is no mold/mildew. It keeps bread fresh for so long. When you lift the lid, it stays up, and doesn’t fall right back down. An it will hold about 2 loads of bread. If you buy the bigger loads of bread, it may only hold one, but you may be able to flip them on they’re side, and fit two. I’m happy with my purchase, and definitely recommend it!
