This is mainly a review of the seller. And all I can say about them is WOW. I have no idea how they did it. I ordered the cabinet on Tuesday at about 4pm and it was delivered, in pristine condition, not a scuff or dent on the box, on Wednesday at 2:30pm. Yes, less than 24 hours. I paid the standard shipping too, not expedited. Amazing. Thank you!As for the cabinet... It's nice. Seems well made. Big and heavy! Should hold files just fine and I don't see it ever falling apart.

HON is a trustworthy name and they produce good office products like this file cabinet. The company they employee to ship their products need to retrain some of their staff. This file cabinet was dented and damaged on all four sides; it looks as if they either stacked other items on top of it or pushed it out from the back end of a moving truck. Very very unprofessional.

This is exactly what I was looking for – you get what you pay for. It’s heavy duty, the drawers extend fully not just partially, has anti-tip, and there are adjustable followers to hold file folders tight (don’t need those hanging things). It’s not quite commercial grade but it is closer than most of the stuff sold for much cheaper price.

The product and price is great, the delivery method sucks. The first time I ordered a couple file cabinets someone called me with a heads up that they were being delivered the next day. That courtesy call did not come the second time. You see, the driver will not unload or help you get the cabinets inside in any way. Luckily there was someone at my office to help me with the cabinets. The driver was really rude. After my office mate and I unloaded the cabinets, the driver insisted I sign something that said I agreed that the product was in good condition when delivered. He was very insistent that I sign even tho I had not had time to open the cabinets to know for sure that they were fine.. The product is fine and the price is great and I guess the customer service is what ya pay for....Cheap!!!

I ordered a pair of Hon 2 drawer file cabinets. They arrived very quickly and in perfect condition! Hon is the very best! I've had other brands and the quality is just not the same. I'm very happy with my purchase!

The file cabinet shipping box looked fine, therefore I accepted the product in it's factory shipping carton. What a surprise for me when I opened it up to find that the cabinet was seriously damaged. The top drawer of the cabinet will open and close, however the appearance (two large bends near the front - one of each side) makes the cabinet so ugly that it can't be used where others will see it. Appearance quite often determines how others see you and your business. Looking at the carton, no way did this damage occur in transit -- it had to be factory boxed in a damaged condition.The shipping was a disaster from day one. The cabinet was shipped within one day of the order for what should have been a 5 day delivery as was promised. The cabinet was shipped from TX to Atlanta where it sat in a warehouse for a week or so and was eventually shipped to a warehouse within two hours of my location where it once again sat for a week or so.Delivery was finally accomplished because I spent quite a while on the phone finding it and then pressing the final delivery to happen. I had to accept the cabinet on the side of a state highway because final delivery was done using a big rig to a residential address.ALL IN ALL, BY FAR MY WORST AMAZON EXPERIENCE....had this been my first Amazon order it would definitely have been my last..TRULY disappointed -- for sure will never order another file from Amazon. The quality is way less than an "identical" model that I ordered from Office Depot a couple of years ago.........

The product arrived in very good condition. No dings or scratches or damages in any way. They did however leave it at the doorstep with no assistance to bring it up... I guess that was fair enough given I didn't pay extra for that type of service.BUT as to the quality of the unit itself? Is it better then the best $200 - $250 file cabinet you could get at Ikea or Office Depot? Yes it is. But is it a super high quality File cabinet, like the ones that they used to install in schools back when I went to high school in 1986? The kind where they smoothly rolled open and shut, gliding back almost automatically with a nicy heavy "click"? No, it's not THAT good. My recommendation? If you can afford it, spring another $100 to $150 and get something nicer - it's worth it. How can you tell if it's a really good quality file cabinet if you're ordering online? My guess is by the weight. This one weighs 46lbs, a really good one should weight 80lbs or more, I'm guessing.
