Suitable for light handed writers and Kuru Toga pencil users.
Regarding the 2B hardness 0.5 mm Ain Stein mechanical pencil lead, I have been using it for almost 1 week and enjoy it thoroughly.I previously used the HB hardness 0.5 mm Ain Stein lead, and the 2B hardness is a darker and smoother feeling lead. I write very lightly, so a hard/durable lead isn't necessary. If anything, having a softer and darker lead makes my writing more visible.In terms of the pencil that I use, I use this lead with the Kuru Toga line of pencils, so the tip of the lead keeps rotating as I write. Since this lead is softer, it wears out sooner and keeps up with the pencil's rotation.

Best lead of all time
Best lead, dark but not as dark as say pilot neox lead, while being incredibly precise and strong. I've tried every single brand and type of mp lead and this ain stein .5mm lead destroys every other one there is. Works incredible on high to low quality paper.

Good quality lead
These are high-quality pencil leads. I purchased the 2B one because I prefer writing with darker pencils leads, and most of the mechanical pencils in the U.S. come with HB lead.These leads are NOT colored, despite their colored containers. They are all grey color. What’s different is their degree of hardness, although the difference is minimal:- HB (blue container) is the hardest and lightest. It is your typical “#2 pencil” lead.- B (red container) is in between HB and 2B.- 2B (orange container) is the softest, smoothest, and darkest out of the 3 leads.

Im not a pencil pro but i really enjoy the smoothness and darkness of these
the dark lines made by these pencil leads is really nice. obviously if you just want to write there are definitely cheaper options, but once you switch to higher quality leads and/pencils it is tough to go back...Im sure that if you get these you'll enjoy them-engineering student (me)
