incredible inhaler for salt and relieve
I am using this product now. I have cystic fibrosis but in a lesser way than most but it does get worse as you age unfortunately, been so since I was 3. I follow the CF program but thru an alternative approach and it seems to be keeping things under control with effort. I find it helpful but I still use my regular inhaler. What I am finding out is that when I drink the himalayan salt twice a day (solay water--concentrated himalayan salt process) that is helping. I drink one teaspoon in the morning and the evening; most people need just one teaspoon for the day, but with CF more salt in the diet is needed. It doesn't taste to bad. That approach is making some differences. I use the himalayan salt inhaler along with my other inhaler. The salt inhaler makes my lungs feel good: it seems to help break up the thick mucus in the lungs if you use it regularly, like 20 minutes or more a day. (Asthma is a lower tract problem visiting the lungs or at least if you read about asthma ascarsis it has a full cycle from the lower tract into the lungs. Not a fun problem. It isn't genetic but a bacterium that is very hard to kill, but with the salt program and probiotics/prebiotics, asthma you can get rid of.) CF is a real physical problem in the DNA: a gene issue. The drinking of the himalayan salt helps to alkalize the body but it also does some unique tricks of its own for what it is. It is a wonderful mineral supplement of many minerals in addition to the salt. Salt kills anything and is a killer of germs and helps with infections of the lungs also. It is good with bronchitis also. The process has to be used daily as the fight to keep the lid on it is always there for most lung issues. CF isn't an easy problem that can be resolved, but controlled. The salt inhaler I really like. It makes my lungs feel good. I can breathe a lot deeper with it I've noticed. I've had mine many months now and progress is good with it. Please note I am not talking about table salt or sea salt of any kind; I am talking about the himalayan salt. It is the only one that has this incredible balancing and healing property to it. I am seeing some wonderful results by drinking it. And believe me lung problems have been so miserable for me that drinking it is nothing. If that solves the problem and gives me my life back and my energy, I can handle it. The salt inhaler is incredible. Highly recommended.

It works!
I was a bit skeptical about inhaling sea salt and having any impact whatsoever, but I had heard great things from a lot of people that had tried it after Dr. Oz recommended it. I had a terrible chest cold (which for me turns into bronchitis yearly) and was miserable, so I thought I would give it a try before I had to use antibiotics or deal with my breathing getting any worse. I received the product very quickly through Amazon Prime 2 day and it was packaged properly and as described.I breathed slowly in through my mouth and out through my nose for about 15 minutes in the morning and before bed while reading a book. I noticed a slight improvement after the first day, and more and more improvement over the next 2 days. By day 4 I was feeling great, and I never recover from a chest cold this bad, this quickly. I had had to sleep sitting up in the recliner due to coughing every time I tried to lie flat prior to getting the Crystal Salt Inhaler and nothing else was working. This definitely helped with my sinuses and lungs, and I noticed my allergies were not as bad as they normally are with the change from summer to autumn each year. I have already bought another as a gift for my best friend, and will continue to use it to lessen my allergy problems. One friend said it took her a week and a half to notice a difference but her symptoms weren't as severe. Another who has been using one for a year (different brand) said that she has to use her prescription asthma inhaler twice as often if she travels without this. Now that I'm not sick, I just use it once a day, before bedtime, but I would definitely recommend twice a day for the first couple of weeks or when you are fighting severe allergies or asthma. I don't know why it works, but it does! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments and I'll be happy to provide any answers I can.

Natural is always better...
Just started using this and I do notice i can breathe a bit easier afterward. Will have to see if it helps long-term. After wearing a mask in stores, etc., I notice I am wheezing when I remove the mask (I do have mild asthma), so it'll be interesting to see if it helps with that.Mine arrived as shown, in a round cylinder and it was well-wrapped in bubble wrap. I noticed some people complained about cracks in the bottom, that could've been caused by it being poorly wrapped or se used for shipping, not necessarily broken when it was packaged and shipped to the carrier. Mine is intact. The pink salt crystals are from Pakistan...the inhaler itself is made in the US. Will recommend to a friend experiencing lingering breathing issues from COVID, hoping it'll help her breathing.

Does NOT work and irritates bronchial tubes
The product does NOT work. Save your money. I used it every day for over two months. It did not ease my breathing significantly, and the salt irritated my bronchial tubes, causing occasional coughing fits even when not using the pipe. For people like me, this product may actually be more harmful than helpful.I did find, after removing the salt and washing out the pipe, that breathing through the pipe helps my breathing a little when I am having mild asthma symptoms. The size of the pipe and its air flow restriction because of the small air intake holes forces you to open your mouth widely and draw air in long slow deep breaths. This method of breathing for about five or ten minutes actually does open and smooth out my breathing, but you don't need a pipe for that. Just open your mouth widely and breathe slowly and very deeply, exhaling through your nostrils. You will get the same amount of relief as the pipe provides without the coughing and irritated bronchial tubes. This leads me to conclude that most asthma sufferers need to learn how to breathe properly to reduce their symptoms. Using a salt pipe doesn't help and may make you worse.
