The ESTWING Hammer - 12 oz Curved Claw is well sized for nearly all hammering. Not too heavy, but ample for most work. The quality is obvious. A must for a person desiring super quality hammer.

This will be my go-to hammer from now on. I haven't got the arm to swing a 16 or 20 oz hammer. The 12 oz has always been my go-to hammer. I've had a 12 oz hammer with wooden handle for years but after using this one, I think it seems to hit harder. May be the head angle or shape but just feels right.

I already own Irwin 16oz and 20oz hammers.I now own the 12 oz. I love the 12oz hammer.Perfect for smaller jobs.

This is perfectly balanced. The grip is perfect for those of us with smaller hands. We also don't need a lot of weight either. It does what it is supposed to!
