Excellent quality, great battery life.
I have been using this model (WI-C310) for some time, so much so I have purchased sets for my son and wife and we are all extremely happy with them.I decided to try the next gen model (WI-XB400) but have found myself returning to the WI-C310, I simply found the sound quality better and the simple feature of the battery status from WI-C310 I find really useful.

works great as an all round bluetooth earphone at this price point.
iPhone users: Siri can be activated by double pressing middle button. So the earphones are light weight and stay in the ear, battery easily lasts all day. upon leaving the home I have been listening to music, taking calls, general business when out and about, the last 2 days, I spent 5.5 hours talking to people on phone each day, and around 2 to 3 hours listening to music. rest of the time the earphones were connected to my phone ready to command Siri for any task. Siri is activated by double press middle power button. Volume level around 80%once the day is finished, I have had around 70% battery left. can't say how long in general the rechargeable battery will last, but I expect 2 years with heavy use. (time will tell)for a cheap set of wireless earphones, the sound is decent. the call quality is good, people I speak to say the quality is decent. I have recorded audio to try it out and it is okay for making phone calls, but not as good as the mic on the iPhone, but better than most cheap earphones which come with mic. Music listening is okay. You are not going to get thumpy bass and excellent sound quality for music at this price point, but for an all round everyday hands free device which can play your music/audio book/podcast all day etc.. then it really is the best you will get for around £30. for a wired pair of earphones for music listening then I recommend the Sony mdr-xb50ap which are far superior imo. but they are wired.the noise isolation is okay, if you want to jam it in your ear then you are going to get more noise isolation. I just have it lightly resting in my ear so I don't need to remove them when talking to people in front of me, and have no problems with them falling out. they come with different size earbuds too to accommodate different size ear canals.Really hard pressed trying to find anything bad to say about these. The battery is lasting great, and the audio quality when listening to music is subjective. some will probably expect too much and think the audio is bad, others will think the audio is excellent.I'm not comparing these to some more expensive devices, this review is based on my expectations at this price point. I have other wireless bluetooth headphones which cost a lot more, are bulky, which I use when on long train/flight journeys or at home, these were purchased to use when out and about. I also prefer wired over bluetooth any day for audio listening.

Good Headset but not great
HiI bought these as i didn't want to spend a lot of money and I've had a pair of Sony wired Ear phones for about ten years now same set and still excellent. These are good but not great. The sound is good the battery life too is good and the fit of the ear good. The not so good points are that these constantly fall out of your ears due to the movement of the quite heavy cable If it had been a round cable maybe not so bad. Also the sound from the cable moving around as you walk or jog is highly noticeable and spoils the audio you are listening too. Not only that but if your device moves you also lose connection with blue tooth ever so slightly that the sound drops out completely for at least a second but enough to spoil it again. I bought some ear hooks to help combat these issues and they worked but without them these issues will remain. Good for a budget item but not so if you like your audio uninterrupted. Phone controls are nice and easy to use too to answer calls turn volume up etc.

Save your money
All Sony earphones are unusable due to a functionality called "sidenote" which cannot be disabled. This apparently plays back to the earphones, whatever is recorded by the mic, when this is in use. Say goodbye to phonecalls or chats. If you need these just for music, then maybe yes. The bass is clean, but VERY loud! It overwhelms the tiny drives and covers up all the other frequencies. It's turning out to be very annoying after 15-20 minutes of listening. My ears where ringing after I tried them for the 1st time. Tried fixing this with applying EQ in my phone, but the best result I got was a muddy bass, still covering everything else. Better listen to analog radio. The only solution is to play with lower volume, which still means that you will end up listening to nothing else other than the bassline.Battery life is more than questionable, 4-5 hours tops @ 50% vol.The magnet holding the 2 pieces together is not strong so they will come apart no matter what you do.The length is too much, could be shorter, but rests nicely behind your neck.Returning this immediately. Better go deaf by hearing the tube rails screaking.

Great product
I mean, what can I say about Sony that hasn't already been said. These are high quality earphones, sound quality is amazing they look really nice. I haven't charged them in over a week and they still say they're fully charged (I'm not sure what percent they have to be on for them to tell you otherwise) but that will vary for others depending on how much you use them. They're very comfortable, and they're evenly weighted so they don't fall out of your ears. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The only thing I don't like about these earphones is when you are in a call you can hear yourself through the mic, it's a bit nitpicky but my partner says it makes me talk really loud, and if your someone who doesn't like drawing attention to yourself that might be a deal-breaker for you. However, that's not what I bought these for, they're great for listening to music and podcasts they are plenty loud and in my opinion they're way better than ear buds cause they just sit on your neck throughout the day until you're ready to use them and you don't have to take them out of their charging case everytime. They charge with usb c which is the standard these days and I'm very appreciative of that. Great earphones. Wouldn't expect anything less from Sony.
