I find Jockey briefs last longer than some other brands and I'm always sorry when I buy a different kind. Eventually, I find I'm sorting through to find the Jockey pair and the others have shrunk or the elastic is shredding through the legs and waistband.These have a covered waist band, which is comfortable, and also useful if you have a problem with lycra. I have a slight allergy to latex and can't wear it next to my skin all day. The covered band is a bit bulkier under clothes but not terribly so. It's a lot more comfortable, that's for sure.I got my usual size and it was a bit generous. I am between sizes and was being conservative; in restrospect, I can go down a size in these as they are rather long-waisted. So I had more room for the tummy and hind-quarters, and perhaps I didn't need that.
