Great
- Charging lifetime is great- Erasers are very good- Charging is fast- It works efficiently and it's functional- It can sometimes have a plastic smell like it's rubbing against itself so it kinda smells burnt sometimes but I have not have had any fires or anything crazy come from it and after not using it for excessive time periods nonstop running while I move around with it it hasn't had the smell so I don't suggest running it nonstop.- It is durable.- Sounds like a tattoo machine.- Easy to control and use- Doesn't really smudge- It is great to store and storage capacity things.- Erasers fit very well- Erasers are soft and efficient.

EXCELLENT electric eraser, excellent seller w/ fast shipping. Highly recommended!
My experience with off-brand Chinese made products have been hit and miss... more miss than hit. However, I have to say this eraser completely exceeded my expectations. In fact, it was so good, I bought a 2nd one for my son.Originally, I was going to buy a Sakura electric eraser for about $40 as that seems to be the name brand one that many artists use. But, due to the great reviews on Amazon and the fact that this AFMAT eraser comes with two size tips and a massive number of refills, and the awesome price, I decided to give it a try.Thankfully, the eraser works flawlessly in every way. It erases cleanly. It is very easy to handle and, as long as you don't have the rubber nib too far out, you can erase precisely with the larger tip of the smaller one. In fact, it is very easy to draw with the smaller tip if you want to add highlights or draw strands of white hair by selectively erasing dark penciled areas. The eraser holds a charge for a long time and I have never had to recharge it in the middle of extended drawing sessions. The body is rather large, and the trigger is definitely sensitive. However, I got use to both aspects very quickly. With that said, I can see how if you threw this into your backpack, it may engage the trigger and drain the battery depending on how the eraser sits in your bag.The refills they give you with the eraser is great. There are SO many compared to what Sakura gives you and the quality of the eraser nibs are very good too. They don't tear the paper and just cleanly erases what you want without fuss or issues. It's also very easy to change the eraser tips and to readjust the tip as the eraser gets worn down.I bought my first one for $14.66 and the 2nd one less than a month later for $15.48. That's a freaking bargain for what you get. In fact, I'm about to buy the black version so that I can have one with the larger nib and one with the smaller nib so I don't have to switch them around. That would still cost $10 LESS than the single Sakura eraser and give me literally hundreds of eraser refills that will last for at least a couple of years.

Efficient and effective.
Excellent eraser. I love rechargeable products which work well due to environmental concerns. The main concern expressed in other reviews seems to be the sensitive button. This is actually great for arthritic hands. I use both an “insulin transport” case well as a small brush case repurposed for my writing gear. I’ve already purchased 2 erasers for me as I keep one in my art travel bag. I also bought 1 for a gift. This easily replaced my more expensive battery operated model. I love that it included all the additional erasers. I only use the larger size and wish there was a purchase option for the same number with either large or small erasers.

pretty fabulous with usage update
I have been an interior designer for 24 years, have always done architectural plans and drawings by hand and have always had an electric eraser. And I have been through a lot of them in that time. I had to replace my original Sakura a couple of times, had a Staedler that didn't work for very long and currently use an Alvin that is on it's last legs, which is why I purchased this Afmat. I haven't used it for long but so far I am very impressed and it looks like it could be the best one yet!It is comfortable to hold and it works brilliantly right out of the box. The eraser speed is so fast that it does a particularly good job of cleanly erasing pencil lines (which is what I use it for). The only slight negative is that the activation button is very touch sensitive, almost too sensitive. But I see this as something to get used to, so not a complete negative, and that I have to be careful how to store it because it activates as it bumps into things. The eraser holder works with all of my existing refills. I have Staedler refills and Sakura refills that were always slipping down in my Staedler and Alvin erasers. The Afmat holds both sizes without issue. And I love that it comes with two extra eraser holders for each size, the first eraser that I purchased to have included these. The other unique feature I like is the cover for the eraser head. The little brush is nice but not sure what I will use it for. I have yet to try the mini erasers, having this option is a first for me but I can see so many applications for using these! The only other possible downside is that the USB cable it came with is very, very short so I am not sure where I will be able to plug it in to charge. But I'll figure it out, it's a small thing well made up for by never again having to replace batteries.A final note on why I picked this unit. Many of my other erasers had issues with the batteries leaking or getting corroded inside the battery case, and often this could not be cleaned enough to get it to continue working properly but not always. Never having to worry about this again is a huge plus. Assuming of course that the rechargeable batteries don't fail as I don't believe they are replaceable.I'm excited to get back to my drawings now with the help of my fabulous new eraser! I'll update this review if I run into any issues but I am very happy on initial tryouts.Update after using for 3 months: I don't use it continuously but often and the battery needed to be charged for the first time today. And this is where I ran into an issue. As mentioned previously, it takes a little getting used to as the eraser runs way faster than than any other brand I have used. And the side button is extremely touch sensitive and in a location where it is easy to activate by accident. But my biggest issue is that when the battery went dead it literally died from one second to the next. No slowing down the way an electric toothbrush will, no warning whatsoever, just working perfectly to dead in an instant. This is a big issue when one in in the middle of a project. Luckily my old eraser is still useable so I could continue on. But if not for that, this would have been a very annoying problem that would negatively impact my ability to continue working. For these reasons I have downgraded my review to 4 stars. And strongly recommend that if you have critical need of an eraser make sure to have a backup.
