Works well
I am keeping crickets of various sizes. It works well, and none have escaped.

Keeps crickets well!
This cage seems to do exactly what it was promised to do. Plastic is not super strong or durable, but unless are really rough with it it seems to be fine. It is holding our crickets very well and the black tubes work perfectly for getting just enough crickets out to feed to our gecko. We have some substrate on the bottom and have added paper towel rolls for extra hiding spots. I took one black tube out and covered the hole with tape because it was just a little too crowded to provide a food source as well. So far this is a great way to keep our live food source.

Useful. Recommend washing before use.
Use it to make feeding my beardie easier. Black plastic tubes are textured inside to make it easier for crickets to move around, but they contained little plastic shavings which should be washed away before use. Unfortunately, the clear plastic lids for the tubes are brittle, and one cracked and nearly broke in half the first time I put it on the tube, and I worry about the access lid closure breaking, but so far it hasn't. A piece of tape is holding the broken lid together, obstructs view a bit, but can use it. One of the flaps was bent and didn't close properly, so I heated it up in the steam from my tea kettle so I could bend it straight and now it works fine. I don't have any problem with escapes--the banded crickets I got seem pretty tame and content. Using a sponge cut to size of one dish works really well for watering, which helps avoid spills and a messier container.

It’s a good cricket keeper…
This is a very good cricket keeper. Are usually get 100 to 150 crickets each week for my baby chameleon. The only thing that I can say about this product that is not good is that whenever I have to take the whole lid off it’s difficult to remove. But the little top trap door is very easy. Plenty of room from the crickets and the food that I put in there for them.

Keeps crickets from escaping!
We originally had a smaller container for cricket that only had the latch opening at the top or you could take the whole top off and a lot of crickets would escape when feeding our bearded dragon. Even more would escape (which we never figured out how) throughout the night. So we bought this bigger container and we haven't had any escapees since! The tubes, along with the hinged flaps that close when you take the tube out are genius. It makes it so easy to grab a tube full of crickets and quickly tap some out into the terranium. Just cover the opened end with your hand to keep the crickets in the tube until you're ready to release. The flap closes behind it so no crickets in the container will be able to get out.We also bought another product which is a rock "cricket feeder" and our BD loves it. The rock splits in half and you fill it with crickets, close the rock, put it in the terranium then unplug a little hole on the side. The crickets eventually make their way out of the hole, thus "feeding" the BD.It was nearly impossible for one person to do this until we had the tubes from this cricket keeper. The tubes make it so easy to transfer crickets into the rock and still have time to close the rock back together without a mess and without any crickets escaping!

Cracked Tubes are mildly annoying
I've had this Kricket Keeper for about month and it has been a good product to keep a good number of crickets in (with no chance of any escapes). Black tubes are good for transporting crickets from the cage to my bearded dragon tank.My only qualm is that the glass covers on the tubes aren't made of a quality material.Out of the four, one was delivered cracked sp I went ahead and covered it with cling wrap and a rubber band and hoped for the best. After a week or so, the two more coverings were broken for the tubes, which was truly annoying and ruins one of the main benefits of the cage. It's a great cage for the price, but the tubes need a bit of work in my opinion.

Holy HUGE!
I have a bad habit of not reading the description completely... I bought a keeper that said it was small once and it turned out very small... This time I thought surly a Large would be perfect! With this said. It was a good thing that I messed up this time! I ordered 500 crickets and they all fit into this keeper. Yes, it is a bit tight, but with some great egg carton stacking they are doing great! There are some reviews that said the keeper was cracked or the little tabs didn't cover the holes fully, but mine was PERFECT!The only thing I do not like is that there is a hole right where the flapper attaches. This is large enough for 1/2 in crickets to climb out of easily. 1 in have a harder time but can still do it. Put some tape on both sides and you will be okay!It has 4 tubes with 4 clear detachable lids, Only one side has a lid. It also came with 4 feeding trays. I've always just thrown the food in but this is nice too!Check out my photos to see for your self!

It makes it easy
It is not the most sturdy product. The tubes are well made the rest is cheap kind of flimsy. But it is nice to just use the tubes to dump crickets from.
