Laptop Lifts - Universal Replacement Laptop Feet Guaranteed To Stay On Until You Take Them Off

I tend to slide my laptop on my granite countertop in my kitchen, but these pads never come off unlike other pads you can buy online.

They lift the laptop higher which I love. The grip is good and also the adhesive is great no issues with them since I put them on. I highly recommend.

Was not too sure in the beginning of what I thought of these. Now that they are on I can respect their beauty. First of all they do what none of the others do which is stick on the bottom of the computer VERY well. They are not coming off unless you intend for them to be removed. They also give you a fair amount of pads so you can really make your laptop stable. These hold the lap top about a 1/2 inch off the surface so your good if there is a liquid spill (lost a MacBook Pro to orange juice and my 7 year old. I got a set of these for every laptop I owned except the convertible types that flip over and form a tablet, these get in the way on them. Another added bonus, I use my laptop in bed and before it would slip off my legs and lap or at least slide off. Since these hang down a bit they act as catches and if I doze off the laptop does not slide off and hit the ground.

The rubber feet on my Dell slowly wore down to nothing, and my laptop ended up sliding around my desk and easily sliding off of any un-level surface. It was still under warranty, and I contacted Dell for replacements, and they sent the entire bottom shell of the laptop, meaning I would have had to completely disassemble the computer, detach the motherboard from the bottom case, then re-assemble in order to address the worn feet. No way.So I looked for alternatives, and found these. They keep the laptop pretty high up off the surface, about a fourth of an inch. This works for me, but keep it in mind if you have any logistical or ergonomic limitations.And these feet allow for NO slipping or sliding, none. They hold tight to any relatively smooth surface. Now I no longer have to worry about my laptop sliding off my lapdesk, or being easily knocked so that it slides across the table and onto the floor.The small bit of bad news is that - man, the laptop does not slide. I never realized how often I micro-adjust the position of the laptop while working, but it's several times an hour. So, picture that you're working at your desk, and you've sort of leaned back in your chair while working. Later, you decide to sit up straight, align your posture, and work from a more alert position.When I do that, I also slightly adjust the location of the laptop so that my hands and arms reach it naturally. With these laptop feet you essentially have to lift and move it rather than slide it. You can make it slide with enough force, but then it kind of skitters as the feet grip/release/grip/release. The original laptop feet were a bit more middle of the road - they provided enough grip to prevent unexpected sliding, but were not so grippy that I couldn't micro-adjust the location of the laptop as needed.But, that small nitpick aside, these are great feet. And for some people, that stickiness might be a plus!

All four of the rubber feet on my Alienware M11X laptop fell off, so it was sliding around whenever I opened and closed the lid. I decided to get replacements from Alienware, but came across this product and decided to try it instead.Bought these laptop lifts at less than $15 and they are absolutely awesome! My laptop does not slip around at all and the adhesive is very strong. The instructions for properly installing them are very descriptive (with pictures) and helpful. The packaging states that the lifts can only be used on once; and if peeled off, will not stick back on. However, extra lifts are provided so if you mess up the first time sticking them on you have backups.I have a gaming laptop so it is prone to overheating. These lifts provide just enough space to allow my computer to get proper ventilation.Overall, a great product. Definitely worth my money. I highly recommend it!

The title of the product indicates, "Guaranteed To Stay On Until You Take Them Off." In my experience, this is absolutely false. I installed the product on a computer with an aluminum case. I meticulously cleaned the installation points with alcohol, dried them with a cotton cloth, and then waited several minutes before attaching the product. I've found that moving the computer results in the product detaching from the case often enough that I have decided to attempt to obtain a refund.UPDATE:I am unable to obtain a refund without the original packaging for this defective product. I guess the word GUARANTEE does not have a universally agreed upon meaning.
