Varta pocketcharger button cell charger NiMH button cell battery

I bought this, and the batteries to go with it for my Vario hearing protection for shooting. It charges easily while on the go. And the batteries last far longer than the single use batteries.

I was at first a little concerned when I got the charger because it's not built very solidly. The charging cable itself is also very flimsy which turned out to be a problem. Initially we had no issue, the batteries charged easily and kept their charge well. Unfortunately, the charging cable has a kind of reel attached to it which is supposed to spool up the cable, this was tricky and got stuck easily, indeed the cable itself snapped completely during use which is something I have never seen before. The vendor is no help with sourcing a replacement and I'm concerned that we may have to buy another charger since the plug is quite unique. Overall I wish I could recommend this but I can't which is a great pitty.

Expensive but saves buying all the little packs to trough away the batteries because they are so small last about 12 hours. I brought a stair pack of batteries so I a.ways have charge. Batteries will charge even when not plugged in from the battery inside the unit. Charged in about 2 1/2 hours

What a fantastic idea this. I will never run out of batteries again and will be freed from the need to find recycling points. Battery life is approx 1 day for my devices (which stream phone calls and music) whereas I get almost a week from disposables. However, I find I prefer that as I just change them every morning. Life changing and will pay for itself financially over time.

It broke down on day one

I have had this since May I have been unable to charge the internal rechargeable battery since new now it appears I am unable to charge my hearing aid batteries even plugged into mains very dissatisfied
