Ignore the negative reviews.
Be mindful that you will need to remove this silver-colored adapter to attach the EA 4 shock mount to certain microphone stands.It's easy to overlook -- which is the source of all the negative reviews on this product ("not having" such-and-such adapter or "not fitting" on such-and-such a mic stand). It fits just fine. If you need to remove the adapter, just grab a quarter and twist.

Tacky and low quality USED packaging.
It's disappointing how these items come looking used and tacky given the price. Refund. I'd rather get something cheaper that comes fully packaged.

Love it! Looks sexy with the mic on it!
This shock mount is heavy duty and you can tell from its build quality it will last you beyond your next upgrade. The price tag was a little too extreme.... ok very extreme lol but it's a Neumann accessory so expect to pay more. However it's worth it for the most part, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I didn't realize you can take the inner metal braids out in order to allow this mount to screw on to a mic stand with a bit of a wider screw head! When I noticed it was too small to fit on my mic stand all I can say was "130 dollars!! Damn!!" Then I realized you can take out the smaller braids in order for it to fit lol
