My husband had been talking about wanting a censure since our trip to Italy where we bought incense. I made a mental note and started searching for one as a Valentine's Day present. He loves it. It's compact enough that it doesn't look out of place in our apartment, but effective enough to pack a punch. And the antique-look of the gold is very striking. The chains are a little short if you're looking to hang, but we haven't hung it yet, so it hasn't proven to be a problem for us. Would recommend.

I loved this the burn resistance on here is amazing. Definitely worth every penny and it's easy to use around the house.

I was as I expected.

Just a caveat to echo what others have said here. The chain that is shipped with the product is flimsy, and came broken in the package. This was easily rectified by purchasing a stronger, larger chain at a local hobby store. In addition, the unit might not be greatly suited to the charcoal method of incense burn, because I find the holes aren't big enough, and there isn't enough ventilation to keep the charcoal burning for very long. Perhaps cone incense might work if you are so inclined. I'm quite sure that the markup for this unit is quite large, but it is a beautiful holder overall, and I will be keeping it for my purposes.

I like this burner.They're different ways to burn resins.Place granules on bottom of this Guy an place place hot coal on top.Putting charcoal on bottom for individual pieces works too.Here my experience, you put that lid on when coals aren't ready it will go out. Got to be glowing white. I purchased Red Ruby charcoal 33mm disks an they're perfect for the job.My take is small pieces not 1 biggie on top, better performance an can add to remaining coals til spent. Wasting otherwise.My take on this whole burner review thing is You get what you pay for. And it's worth the price of a meal at McDonald's. It's made by people in 3rd world counties trying to eek out a life. The chains are adequate to me, a single chain at top hangs the whole. Good brass, real brass with small imperfection at rim of bowl, so what, tiny casting mark. At this price point, me I'm not pressed about realigning the chains or the split rings. It weights nothing, to dictate me swinging it side to side like church decons do is going stretch these rings, No....Realistic.

This is such a cute little censer/thurible, and I love it - regardless of the fact that it arrived with a short chain (chain is about 6” not 9” as advertised) and the gold plating was damaged/rubbed off/missing from a portion of the top. Luckily, that doesn’t matter much to me. This works great for incense cones, and I love it regardless. :)

Smaller than I thought

I rarely leave reviews but wanted to let others know how nice this censer is for an excellent price. I used some frankincense with charcoal tablets to generate a very calming scent. I do not agree with the negative reviews, this is a perfect size for your average person, a larger unit would put off too much smoke. Highly recommended for those who love the smell of incense but cannot afford the hundreds of dollar priced censers sold for commercial use. This generates plenty of output for even a very large room (I believe a church cold even use this with good quality charcoal)
