I've only used this battery for a few hours. So far, it seems to hold a charge quite well. It is a perfect fit in my camera. The price is fair.

Assuming that the specifications are accurate, this battery has lower capacity of others in the same form factor. One would need to set up an amp meter that integrates over time with a load bank to measure it, but the specifications imply that the camera will take fewer shots than some alternative batteries. It’s possible that there are other trade offs such as greater life cycles with this battery, but it would take a lot of effort to test that.

Came in good time, have stayed charged since I purchased them. Haven't had a bit of problems with them. When needed, I will buy them again.

Purchase this for my husbands Nikon camera, where the battery he had was not charging properly. This works fine.

Battery worked the first time and for one charge. Then it doesn’t charge anymore. It’s a scam, the battery doesn’t work.

The battery charges like the original Nikon EN-EL9 which came with the NIKON D40 camera and Nikon Quick Charger MH-23. The battery holds its charge even if the camera is used infrequently. At around $11.00 this represents a good value compared to the so-call OEM NIKON replacements which cost 3 x more. In my experience, the currently available OEM batteries are not as reliable as the original batteries supplied with the camera which lasted over 8 years. Perhaps NIKON has outsourced production.
