I'm going to Ireland in a week, and I had planned to borrow a friend's Bodhran to take and jam in some of the pubs. I'd forgotten, though, how large said Bodhran was. It's too big for carry on and I'm way too paranoid to trust it to be put inside with the other suitcases. This mini-djembe is perfect!! I love my large djembe, but it's *way* too large for a plane. This drum is great! The sound is very good, and there's a cord to put one hand through so I can hold the drum, have that awesome sound, and still get to move to the music. The description describes it mostly as a child's instrument, and I think it would be great with kids, but it's also fun for adults too without the hassle of larger instruments. I can't wait to take mine to Ireland and get into the spirit of that incredible music! Thank you very much!!!

This drum is made very well. Great craftsmanship here. My granddaughter never tires of beating her drum.

the bottom being a rough wood does deter from letting my little one play but once they are older i know they will love it! it’s sturdy, built well, and so cute!

This drum is super cute I’m gifting it for my nieces bday, but it is smaller than expected and the sticker for the product was directly on the skin of the drum it got stuck and left behind some adhesive. It took a bit to clean without damaging the drum. But overall good gift for a toddler

For a child, this is actually a nice set. I bought it for my niece whose about 2 so she could make a lot of noise for her parents and the batteries won't run down because they're are none. Bahahahaha

I gave this gift to my nephew and it is perfect. The tone is nice, but definitely mellow enough to not be annoying. Fits his tiny hands just right and easy for him to carry around.

First of all why would anyone put a sticker right on the drumhead??Tried my best to get the sticky residue off without success & no way would I attempt to use any liquid, the head is made of such thin material I dont think it would hold together. That leads to the fact that I dont think it would withstand the first good thump of a toddler. I get that its supposed to be toddler size but with it being so small & cheap, theres no actual drum sound when tapped. Its advertised to be 8 inches tall which is small enough but it's truly around 7 & 3/4 inches.It would be cute as a $5 decorative piece but definitely not worth $20 & would quickly be tossed aside by any child if not busted on the first thump.Returning for refund!!
