I don't understand negative reviews
I love them and using already for 1 year. They have been a lifesaver for me in everyday life and also while on trips. We went for a 3-week backpacking trip with lots of strenuous hiking every day and I had just 5 sweaters/shirts with me and these shields saved me from any stains, from odor and from laundry my cloth every day.I use them with sweaters, long sleeve shirts.I wash them with hands every evening and they still look great.I highly recommend them.My size is XS/S.

Not as pictured; narrow elastic straps sewn in wrong place
Ordered these for my wife, who has purchased several in the past. Her comments:Pluses: Nice fabric, appropriate size and snaps work well on wide and narrow bra straps.Problem: The narrow elastic straps are designed to go over the bicep/tricep area of your arm and hold the top half of the shield in place. My old pair has the elastic sewn 2 inches away from the snaps, which keeps the shield in place and provides protection over the entire armpit. See the product picture on Amazon for the correct placement of the elastic strap. In the pair I just ordered the elastic is sewn only 1/2 inch away from the snaps, meaning the top half of the shield doesn't stay over the armpit and is useless (unless, I suppose, you have a tight fitting top that holds the entire shield in place...not the case for my jacket and sleeveless shell). Will need to sew my own elastic straps in the correct place before using again. I don't recommend buying these until this issue is resolved.

It's okay. It does work but I'm not a fan of the straps.
I wouldn't use this on the regular. It's a little weird with the strap over the arm. But with that said it's best to put it on before your put on your bra. It did stay in place and was washable. I have used the disposable one from this company and they don't alway s stay in place. I will use this when I need to protect my suits.

Read this before purchasing...
I had high hopes for this product. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. After finally maneuvering myself into them, I had to continually recheck and pull down on them. The pads did not cover or shield my entire underarm area. I was concerned that perspiration would still be a factor. I am a size 8-10 and this felt small. It is also bulky. Buyer, beware!

Truly a lifesaver
I don't know what I would do without these armpit shields. I discovered these about a year ago, but at the time, I was purchasing Kleinert's armpit shields for short sleeves. Those work fine, but require a LOT of adjusting, especially if you are wearing a tighter fitting jacket. These long-sleeve shields do the trick, however. I can go through an entire day and not have to adjust them at all (or at most, maybe once or twice, but only to position it a little bit better).I do not wear a suit jacket without these anymore, period. I do this because even though I don't have a B.O. problem and I don't perspire (I use Certain Dri and so I don't sweat!), there's still a funky smell that occurs from wearing a suit jacket up against a bare armpit, or even a short-sleeved armpit. At least, that has been my experience. I've ruined too many suit jackets, but not anymore. Somewhat expensive, but best clothing product ever.
