Lee Mcgregor's Synopsis Of Surgical Anatomy
K**N
One of the best books ever on surgical anatomy
This was a book introduced by one of our surgery professors during my medical college days. That was many decades ago! But the book has remained the cornerstone of surgical anatomy ever since. Lee Mcgregor transforms surgical anatomy from a subject usually requiring rote learning, into a delightful, almost magical subject. The sections on surgical anatomy served to help provide a context to the subject under discussion. At a time when most medical textbooks were drab and dry, this book, along with one on Pharmacology by D R Laurence were pure joy to read. I think I learnt a lot more from Lee's book than many other, more detailed textbooks on the subject. Copies are not easy to come by these days, but I would strongly recommend this to all students looking to carve a career in surgery. Buy it. The effort to get the copy will be certainly worth it.

Must buy
Amazing anatomical review in a surgical view within a short time. Some points here and there seem outdated but gold is still gold. I would suggest any surgical resident to opt for it.Book in good condition. Great value for money (500). I'm happy that this oldie is still available (at least online) though it's not being reprinted
