I like this product. It is easy to adjust the resistance if you follow the instructions. One thing that impressed me the most about this product is the lack of a sharp, irritating molding ridge running down the center of the grips. The grips on mine are smooth and comfortable. Another thing to note, for those with large mitts, is that the grips and finger grooves fit my 2XL men's glove sized hands. The grips fit comfortably in my wide palms, and my fingers are not crunched together by the groove spacing. Both the lack of a sharp ridge and a comfortable width are important when you are doing a large number or repetitions with a piece of equipment like this. This product is nice-looking and the color scheme makes it easy to locate. The fact that it fits comfortably in my hands will, in turn, lead to me using it more. It is already helping to increase my hand strength and endurance. I think that it is important to note that the lowest resistance level on this unit seems to be low enough for someone with weak hands to begin using and then gradually increase. I mention this because some of the non-adjustable grip exercisers I have examined over the years would have been unusable by anyone with weak hands, regardless of the cause of that weakness.

This is a far better design for an adjustable grip trainer. Most of the ones you see on Amazon have a more exposed spring, on top, and are continuously adjustable with a screw. If you dig into the reviews you'll see that none of them last very long (mine worked for about a month before breaking) because this or that small part that's getting a huge amount of force from an awkward direction eventually snaps. This one is about as inexpensive, and much sturdier, because by its design you apply your force along the line of the spring itself, so the two points of contact with the spring are solidly buttressed by the force of your hand.I'll ding it one star because the grip itself can feel slippery, and the two adjustments (width and tension) are a little fiddly. I don't miss the continuously adjustable tension of the other models: the four settings on this one are fine.

I doubt I'll have anything new to add to the reviews here. I've been using it for several days and while I never see myself getting beefed up with this product, I can certainly tell it's increasing my forearm strength which was my primary goal.It's very simple to switch back and fourth between the various resistances which is a major plus that it even has that ability. I'm always skeptical of products at such a low cost in terms of how long they will last, time will tell but at the moment there's no indication of poor quality or craftsmanship.It's a solid product that even if it were to fail in a few months, the cost is so low I'd easily buy it again.I feel like I do have to give it some criticism though. For whatever reason, it hurts my left hand and does not fit as snugly as my right. This is likely due to being right-handed though the product is ambidextrous. You only need one. My second critique is that is squeaks. I live alone, so not much of an issue but I could see a significant other getting annoyed if you worked out for a while as they tried to read or watch TV.Neither are a big issue for me, just something to mention.

I really like this grip strengthener. It's build super durable, and I really like how you can adjust the resistance. However, I got this to use at work and I was bummed when it came in the mail to find that it squeaks every time you pump it!! It's definitely not for a quite work place, and even at home it got really annoying just using it... Anyone have any suggestions how to make it not squeak??

This is a nice grip exerciser. It's got a good feel and weight, I've been using it off and on for a year now and it appears as sturdy now as it did the day that I got it. I like that it's adjustable and I like the price. My one quip is that I don't care for the hard plastic grip when doing numerous repetitions - I think I'd like a slightly softer grip, perhaps with some texture. I think that the softer grip would affect longevity so it's probably a bit of a give and take in the grand spectrum of things, but it's something to consider while making your purchase.
