Works as Expected
Easy to use. No extras. The pole does blow in the wind and if you hang it over open air it bends like it's going to break but it doesn't(I have a heavy attachment on it). Strong, sturdy, and reliable. Light and easy to use. Doesn't fit in my jetta(compact sedan) though, I have to put it through my trunk hole and it sticks out in my backseat.

This is a great produce that does exactly what it is supposed to do
After researching the Docapole and Eversprout extension poles, I could not ascertain which one was better via my online research, so I purchased both along with their associated hooks. My son and I used these products to hang Christmas lights high in trees outdoors. There is simply no comparison between these two products. The Eversprout extension pole is the way to go! This product does exactly what it is supposed to to: extends and retracts easily, stays locked when extended and is sturdy when fully extended. We used it for hours to put up and take down Christmas lights and it worked great. The Docapole on the other hand is a complete waste of money. It bent after only 3-5's times stringing lights (in about 15') and would then not retract. I returned it, but had to go to a packaging store as it was too long to fit in the box it was shipped to me in. The Docapole was flimsy and cheap. The hooks were similar in function, but I used the Eversprout one much longer and was happy with it. Buy the Eversprout pole and don't look back - you will not be disappointed (it's costs less too!).

Almost perfect
I've tried several extension poles and while this one is my favorite, a couple of improvements could be made to the design.1. The bottom end cap should be reinforced or made of threaded metal. Ours broke or wore out after a couple of weeks of use and it caused the pole to fall apart. The company was nice enough to send a replacement pole. They were extremely professional and responsive with their service. I reinforced the cap on the replacement pole in order for it to last longer.2. it's not easy to tighten the extension joints without a tool and often times you need to tighten the clasp in the field. I've seen some designs where you can twist the clasp to tighten, but on this design it appears that you need an allen wrench.3. The pole only comes with a threaded end but I have some tools like my fruit picker that use a non threaded end. You can purchase an adapter that threads on to the pole, but it would have been nice for that to be included with the pole since I assume many if not most people will need a non-threaded end at some point.

It's long and managable
I use the pole to hang Christmas lights on two 18' trees. The pole I used before (was twist type) stopped working and needed replacement. This pole is much sturdier and easier to handle and control. I did extend it to 18' and was able to get to the very top of the trees. I an also use it for ceiling lights and other things that are high up. Recommended!

Happy with this - seems sturdy enough and works well
Got this to reach solar panels on my roof - we live in a low rain area and have pine trees that drop needles on it, so the panels can get pretty soiled. I bought an attachment brush (standard "acme" threading) that attaches securely and easily to the threaded end of the pole. The pole is easy to extend/retract, and has a good feel in hand, with grips that make it easy to hold securely. I can extend and retract it while standing at the top of my ladder and not feel like it's too difficult and putting me off balance. Even at full extension (w/the brush at the far end laying on the solar panels) the pole is easier than expected to manage/maneuver. Two neighbors stopped by to see what I was up to and there was clearly some pole envy. :)Will have to see how it wears over time by my initial response to day 1 use is that I would definitely buy it again.

Misleading Description - Plastic Thread Tip, Not Metal
Despite the manufacturer claiming the tip is "metal," the threads are actually made of plastic. This is highly misleading and results in significant durability issues, as the plastic wears out much faster than metal would. For a product marketed as "sturdy" and "long-lasting," this is a major flaw. If you're looking for a reliable extension pole, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. This one won't be delivering on its promises.

Good pole, attachment broke, Eversprout is replacing it.
This is a tough review to write. I like the pole. I feel it is a reasonable compromise between rigidity and weight. The other reviews were a little critical sometimes, but they may have had other uses. I used it to clean my gutters that were difficult to access. The only issue I have is the attachment end broke. I wasn't the one using it when it broke, so I can't speak to whether it was used inappropriately. I used glue to put it back together. I don't know how long it will last.*** UPDATE: I decided to let the Eversprout know what happened with the pole. They were extremely helpful and kind about it. They have committed to replacing the pole. I am very appreciative.*** UPDATE: The replacement arrived and I am using it. The company stood behind their product. I appreciate it.
