Replogle Globes Atlas Globe, 12-Inch, Bronze Metallic

Loved this globe. However the manufacturer needs to create a new mold for the Atlas figure holding the globe as it's off-center. It's really noticeable when you are sitting down looking up at it. What a shame as it's not cheap! The globe itself is rich-looking.

No Idea what all the other product reviews are talking about. Very easy to assemble- there are only two pieces. Just screw Base A into Globe B with a Phillips Head Screwdriver. Base is not Metal, but it is Metallic which is what the listing says- It's made of some sort of heavy/solid resin, which looks like metal and feels good to the touch- isn't that all that matters?Shipping was fast, and product was well packed in foam and cardboard. It is an expensive Globe, but it's also a unique globe with an incorporated sculpture for a base- I haven't found anything else online that even comes close to resembling this. As a customer you'll just have to decide what you're willing to pay to have something that's different.Personally I was very happy with this high quality item.

We loved the globe and were disappointed when it arrived broken. It was not even packed for shipping. Just basically thrown in a box. Also, for the price of the globe we expected better quality than what we saw in person. Nice looking in picture but the price and quality don't match. We didn't reorder, just returned it! Bummer!

I assembled it correctly, but I was surprised that the globe wobbles, because of how it attaches to the base. Disappointing because the statue and the globe looked sharp. I returned it and instead purchased an identical globe from the same manufacturer BUT with a sturdier base (Hexhedra model). I am much happier with the more solid Hexhedra model.

Received product on time and in perfect condition. Item was very easy to assemble and overall looks great. The statue of Atlas is made of bronze metallic as stated. Would definitely recommend to others.

I was afraid when I bought this that it was going to be too cheap or too gaudy. It's neither of those. I love to bring it down off the shelf when my family and I are discussing anything global. It is sturdy as well.
