This system worked perfectly. It took a little longer to vacuum down the system than a professional quality pump may have taken, but an extra 15 - 20 minutes is worth the hundreds of extra dollars. It came with all the fittings and adapters needed. I would definitely recommend.

Worked like a charm. Used it for DIY installation of my two mini split systems. No need to pay for a ac guy. Even if your semi handy you can watch a YouTube video and make it happen.

This vacuum pump works great for the price. It seems to be decent quality and comes with fittings that allow it to fit both r134 and r12 systems. I have used it several times already on a couple of farm tractors during winter maintenance and it has worked great. As other reviewers have stated, the gauges are not the best quality but for the money, I think they are great. I think for the average person occasionally needing to evacuate an A/C system or top off a vehicle, this set is more than adequate.

I have an issue with my refrigeration on our boat. We have paid to have repairs twice in the last two years. I finally decided to attempt the repairs myself, as the professional can't seem to fix it. This is a nicer kit than at least one of the service guys had. It includes the gauges, vacuum pump, various fittings and attachments, leak detector and compressor oil, along with pretty good instructions. Overall quality of the equipment looks to be really good, and the kit pretty much covered everything we needed.

Well this definitely worked as described. It came with the fitting I needed for an R410a mini-split system. Took half an hour total to vacuum out the lines, check to make sure it held vacuum, then check for leaks. Saved me hundreds from having to have an HVAC professional do the same thing. The pump is pretty quiet and the manifold gauges and lines honestly feel very high quality. I've seen a lot of really cheap manifold gauges that have garden hose-style shutoff valves, but this has much nicer knobs on the front, which I appreciate.The one thing I noticed is that the kit doesn't have an adapter for self-sealing cans of R134a. All cans have been self-sealing for many years now, but this only includes an adapter for the old style that had to be punctured. I do all of my own vehicle maintenance, so if I ever need to add refrigerant, I'll have to separately purchase the correct adapter. It seems a bit strange that this wasn't included, but ultimately it isn't a big deal.

After putting in the oil and switching on, it only took about 30 seconds to change the sound and start pumping.It had the fitting(s) required to match my low side freon port. Using 140-A.The with lines attached as required I let it run for about 40 minutes and switched off. Checked an hour later still holding a vacume.Saved some money, not requiring an AC guy. And also prepared now to install up to 4 more units as I go forward.Comes in a carry bag with compartment for pump and another for gauges and lines.I feel very empowered.

Fits well and works fine. No problem at all. All things went well with this A/C manifolder and the vacuum even though I tried to completely refill A/C refrigerant for the first time in my life. Love it.
