Fits perfectly but you'll need to replace the fasteners provided.
Received my order in one day. It came in an oversize box, screen was enclosed in a plastic bag with the fasteners inside, but no dunnage in the box to protect it. The box was torn open but surprisingly the was no damage and since the fasteners were in the sleeve with the screen, nothing was missing. Screen fit my 2025 Ram 1500 fine but, as others have stated the fasteners provided were junk and they only provided (6) no extras. 3 of the six broke. I ended up throwing all of them away and went to Harbor Freight and had to buy an assortment kit to get the fasteners needed. $17 but I got it installed, and it fits fine. I would recommend it, but caution, be prepared to supply your own fasteners.

Missing Parts
I sent the following message to Auto Ventshade. I have not heard a peep. As I received no response, I purchased a pushpin kit so I was able to install the deflector. It was no easy task. The majority of the slots on the deflector did not line up with the hood.I am writing to complain about the AVS Bugflector Hood Shield that I recently purchased. I tried to install the shield according to the instructions, but the push pins that were included were too long to fit in the hood. I tried to trim the push pins, but they were still too long. I even tried to use different push pins that I had on hand, but none of them were the right size.In addition to the push pins being too long, the package was also short 14 push pins. I needed 20 push pins to install the shield, but the package only included 6.I am very disappointed with this product. I have been a loyal Auto Ventshade customer for many years, and I have never had a problem with their products before. However, this product is clearly defective.I would like you to send me a new package of push pins that are the correct size. I would also like you to send me a refund for the 14 push pins that were missing from the original package.I hope that you will take this matter seriously. I am a very satisfied customer with your products, and I would like to continue to be a customer. However, I cannot do that if I am not able to install the Bugflector Hood Shield properly.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Excellent Fit
I installed this on my 2021 Ram 1500. It fit perfectly. I only removed the factory clips from the hood seal where the deflector holes lined up and yes they will break, so I recommend only removing the necessary ones. Also when installing the supplied push pins I nipped about3/16” off the pointed end so they wouldn’t bottom out. You have to really push the outside part of the push pin to compress the weatherstrip rubber in order to screw the center piece in. It’s is possible and would be easier in warmer temperatures. The people that say they don’t work are probably not mechanically inclined. It took me about 20 minutes to install by myself, as others have said a helper would speed up the install.

Keep the bugflector 2, throw out the clips
The smoke Bugflector 2 looks great on my 2022 Ram 1500 5th gen. Installation is horrendous. The clips packaged with the deflector are too big and don’t work. Here is what I did: I bought the GOOACC 635Pcs Car Push Retainer Clips for under $20. I used the clip shown in the photo with this review to attach the deflector to the body in the existing holes (6 of them). In other words, I did not sandwich the rubber seal and the deflector under the clip, as clip I used is too small for that. Then, I used 3M double sided advanced auto tape to attach the rubber seal to the deflector at the clip points. It’s been on about 10 minutes, so I can’t vouch for longevity, but all seems okay. It’s a 2 person install.

Buy hardware before installation!
The Bugflector II fits my truck reasonably well. Not perfect, but pretty close. Looks nice on the truck. My goal is to keep rock chips off the edge of the hood and this should do the trick. However, be advised that you need to buy hardware before you start this installation. On the 2022 Ram 1500, double sided tape is not used. Instead, they give you six screw-insert type plastic rivets. I found that these rivets were a joke. They would not thread correctly in hand apart from the installation, much less thread correctly when I tried to insert them into the hood. Absolute garbage. Thankfully, I had an inventory of various plastic rivets in my toolbox and I was able to find a few that will hold the Bugflector onto the hood until a more permanent solution can be found. Since hardware is the key to any item like this, I have to give 3-stars.
