Sticky on one side, smooth on other, seems good
I've used 3m duct tape and the quality of the Duct brand tape seems to be just as good. I'm not using it for electrical work but it seems to be good tape.

Good for use on dry erase boards
I bought this to cover a slight gap between two dry-erase panels in my van. True to the Duck name, it's done the job very well, and at a fraction of the cost of other materials. I had to reposition it a couple of times before getting the into position. Despite that, the tape is holding through my New Mexico road trip. The plastic case protects it well in my roadside kit and the lid stays secured. After vacation, I'm planning a couple of craft projects with dry erase board and will use this to protect the edges.

For my project--it was Great
I am not an electrician and know nothing about electrical tape. I got this because I wanted to stripe a black ottoman with white tape, similar to duct tape, but just 1'' wide. This tape worked wonderfully. It is very easy to work with, is slightly stretchy, sticks well--so far--and was the perfect width for my project. The base for this project is a pleather (Plastic) ottoman that my cats use as a step stool to get on the window seat. I am anxious to see how it holds up to little paws and finger nails. I hope it lasts because I love this ''new'' ottoman.

Color is silver, not grey
I know most people would not be too concerned about the color, but I was trying to match a roll that I just ran out of and this tape is definitely matte silver, not grey. It's even a little bit metallic. It's not going to match the stuff I had. But in the end, it's tape, it works.

A must have for Apple product owners!
My household is a mass consumer of products from a certain electronics company with fruit for their logo. This company is well known for having very expensive components; a replacement charger for a phone or laptop may cost up to $80. I found out the hard way that our new kitten really enjoys chewing on these expensive parts... fortunately, the kitten did not electrocute herself, and I caught her before she completely chewed through any cords. If you have own any i-products or macbooks, you would be wise to keep a roll of this stuff on hand. You can quickly repair any cord for a fraction of the cost of a replacement. The white color blends right in and the fix should last for years (probably longer than the lifespan of the computer). You can't go wrong with Duck brand tape, and the roll comes in a nice little plastic container so you can store it in a drawer and forget about it until you need it. The container keeps it from getting dirty and a roll should last for a long time. This is a no-brainer investment for quick and easy repairs for your power cables. As a bonus, you can also you this when traveling abroad to fasten your chargers to international adapters. Yet another reason to throw this in your bag or backpack if you are traveling with electronics.

Good tape
THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE "Duck Brand 300877 Professional Grade Electrical Tape, 3/4-Inch by 66 Feet, Single Roll, White" and BlackTape works excellently. I have had no problems using it to repair frayed wires or protect computer internals. This tape works perfectly, there is no residue, and is flame retardant. As stated before, I have had no issues using this tape to fix frayed wires, more specifically on charger wires. One major problem I have encountered with other electrical tapes is that some of them have this nasty residue that they leave behind whoever you stick them. With this tape, you don't experience anything like that. A great bonus about this tape is that it's flame retardant. If I happen to mess up on something electrical I can rest assured that my house won't burn down in the middle of the night while I am sleeping. There is one thing that I think other people should know about, and that is something along the lines of that this tape is produced with poly-vinyl meaning that it may contain traces of lead it in. I would limit skin to tape contact with this product. There is not anything that comes to mind that I would change about this product.

horrible value, works fine
way too expensive for what you get, but the tape is good quality and there's a good amount of it on the roll.
