Three novels in one. A great read in general.
Omnibus includes two previously unreleased novels in North America: Boogiepop in the Mirror and Boogiepop Overdrive. Since they’re “light novels” each story is about 50,000 words so you can quickly breeze through each book in one day or two. The first story is about a group of six friends who have the special ability to see the future each in their own way, and unintentionally discover a huge conspiracy that could endanger the world. The second story is about people becoming trapped inside a temple and a being called the King of Distortion getting insidr their dreams. The third story talks about the origins of Boogiepop and her sometimes collaborator Nagi Kirima. The stories are told from the perspective of numerous supporting characters and third person perspective. Somehow we never see the story from the main character’s perspective: Boogiepop. I highly recommend, especially if you like the anime currently on air.

Worth it, even if we never get more
I was concerned whether this volume would just leave me wanting more of the series (when no more has been announced in English), but the sixth book makes a passable end to the saga, even if this is all we get. I would love to read more, but I do not regret buying this volume and it supplements the anime series so well. Buy this book...maybe if you do, more will be localized!

Enjoyed this greatly
Even better than the first Omnibus collection, if such a thing were possible. Quick reading that covers really heady philosophical and psychological issues, and also fleshes out the back story of father and daughter Kirima, Boogiepop and others from the earlier novels. Also prog rock references galore.

Amazing
Boogiepop is my favorite series and I can't express enough. The volumes in the second omnibus are very great, definitely not a down-grade to the earlier volumes. These volumes might even be better then the first omnibus.

Hopefully more to come?
Waited 11 years to finally read volumes 4 & 5 and then proceeded to blow through them both in two days (one book each day). I really hope this leads to rest of the series finally getting translated.

So awesome!
Very pleased with this! Surprised at the condition as I often get books with small dings on it or small scratches but this was perfect.

Just Gets Better & Better
I need them to publish the rest of the Boogiepop books. These kept what made Boogiepop great but added more philosophy & psychology to them

Great author, ruined by mediocre translations
I've been a Boogiepop fan for years and love Kouhei Kadono's works. The man is extremely talented and has written a number of other amazing works including Purple Haze ~ Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. He's one of the few people that Araki entrusts to write for Jojo. This English translation however is a huge disappointment. The writing is extremely bland and boring. It literally feels like someone took the Japanese texts and ran it through Google Translate.I don't know who Seven Seas got to translate this light novel, but it's very clear that they got a very amateur writer for the job. I understand that translating a novel from Japanese to English is no easy task, but the writing here is so incredibly amateur that it feels like a fanfiction written by a high schooler. The story itself is fine. However, reading this was tough to get through. I would recommend this for any Boogiepop fans, but expect high school level writing.

Amazing book
Just got into the series recently only to be sadden that there are only 6 volumes translated, that's crazy, I mean this is the grand daddy of light novels and the west can't read it? Blasphemy! We need this translated ASAP.
