I love that my little boy knew that’s where he Scratched his nails.. the top part of this is still standing solid the rug part is gone almost.. I bought this in February 2021 and now it’s on my patio for him to have another post.. he has two large cat towers and won’t scratch on them.. I tried to throw this one out and he jumped on it like mommy no I still want it.. so if you are training this is perfect but up grade fast.. my boy is blue Russian tabby and solid so gives you an idea what I got a boy who knows what he likes lol.. I forgot to add he also had caps on his nails to train not to use his nails on people and still destroyed the carpet part lol..

The media could not be loaded.  The cat LOVES it and the little toy on top. This would get 5 stars if the base was a little heavier. Great purchase.

This scratcher is quite tall enough for large cats, but the base is too small, and light weight, my cats constantly tip it over, that's why I gave it only 4 stars. If they improve the base, then it would be a five star. I'll probably take the base from one of their old scratches off and rig it as the base for this one.

Very easy to put together and doesn't seem flimsy. I like that it has carpet and rope so the cats can choose which are to scratch and can change it up if they prefer. The carpet bits do come loose and make a mess, but whatever it's not that big a deal I think. This is a great height for my kitten to climb up, and the bigger adult cats can still use it for scratching. Plus I like that the base is carpeted so the cats can have vertical and horizontal scratching options

My two cats love this scratching post, so much so that after six months the lower, carpeted portion of the post is completely shredded. Interestingly the upper, sisal rope portion is unscathed. So now I'm shopping for a replacement post, won't be buying this one again.

This CAT SCRATCHER is a bit higher ( perhaps an inch) and slimmer than Walmart or big lots usually carries. It is a decent quality, but cats touched it once to show appreciation and than went back to attacking furniture. Got lucky in local Big lots with the "original" so we are rolling again.

I have 4 cats in ranged ages and the all love this. They usually tear through posts in a month or less and have the dangling toy ripped of in under 24 hours. This one and the mouse has lasted well over a month with no issue. LOVE.

For the amount of money I paid for it it is worth it. But if you want something more sturdy I would pay a little more. Next time I am going to pay the extra money for something more sturdy and something that my cats can't rip apart so soon. Don't get me wrong it still has a lot of life in it though.

When I got this in the mail in such a small box I was surprised and worried about how good this item would be. But I was even more pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to put together and how sturdy this cat scratcher really is! My cats love beating the crap out of this post and it holds up really well. I was actually looking for a full carpet post but they were hard to find or really out of my price range. This outreached my expectations and am so glad I got it instead of spending so much on a carpet one I would probably have to replace after a few months. This takes all the hard scratching from both my crazy boy cats without showing any wear or tear. One thing I do have to say is the mouse didn't last 2 weeks with my nutty cats :p It's still hanging but the fur covering on the mouse is half-eaten :p But the tail feathers are still on it so they still like to beat on that too.

Very disappointed..it doesn't stay uprightA washer was missing for assembly and the bottom platform doesn't lay flat so one swipe from the Cat andit topples overNot convinced a washer will solve the problem so plan on returning itBut my Cat loves it for the few seconds it IS upright

Great cat little scratcher that's just the right height to sit next to our couch to distract from scratching the side. Our kitten loves the toy and our older cat loves being able to get a good stretch in. Neither cat is very large. I duct taped the base when assembling so it wouldn't come apart as it comes in two pieces and put a 5lb weight on the bottom opposite to where they scratch so it doesn't tip or slide. With those adjustments it works awesome and is great value for money!

This is not sturdy and the base of this scratch post fell apart. Don't waste your money

Lo considero un poco costoso considerando el tamaño del producto. Se nota resistente en la estructura, aunque a los gatos muy activos no les durara ni un par de dias el juguete tipo raton que tiene colgando (ese fue mi caso).
