Hillsdale Furniture Hillsdale Westchester Daybed with Trundle, Twin, Fog Fabric

Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. Both the trundle and bed feel very sturdy. I don’t love the gap between the top mattress and side of bed. I’m contemplating a twin xl, but for now we’re just living with it. The back is NOT finished. It’s flimsy black material. We’d planned to put the bed in our basement as a couch, so I was originally really disappointed with the back. However, the bed was so huge, we ended up rearranging the room to put it against a wall. Even with those things, I’m still giving it a 5. We like it that much!

I ordered this daybed because on the 360 view showed with a full back. It arrived with only a half back, and more specifically with a third back, which means it can be used only pushed against the wall. Also, even with a XL high mattress, it is hard to cover the gap between the back and the seating. It will be close to Impossible to put back in the boxes and return so make sure that this is the kind of back you want when you order it.

The packaging can look intimidating but once you figure it out with the instructions it easy. I found out I needed a drill for the slot to hold the mattress up. But it's two beds in one space, perfect for sleep overs. I follow the instructions and purchased a twin mattress but it appears too small for the length.

I bought this trundle bed for my office and it looks great. I put a 9-in twin XL mattress on top which fits perfectly. Can't wait for guests to come and use it! Bottom mattress is only a twin and 8 in high.

Easy to build. Nice and sturdy bed. We love it.

Bought this for my sons room. He is 17 and he put it together on his own. He really enjoys the look of his room now.

Easy set up, cat loves the day bed. What else can I say.
