Question 1

Will this fit my ruger SR9c

Accepted Answer

No, the Hogue 17700 is the wrong model for the compact 9C. The Hogue model 18000 handall Jr. will fit the compact and others, I'll include the list below.

Hogue has recently introduced the model 17710, limited availability for the Ruger Security 9 Compact.

Question 2

Does the grip twist after shooting with it?

Accepted Answer

I haven't had a chance to fire my security 9 since I put on the grips.. With that being said. The process putting them on makes them very tight. It feells like it melded on the grips

Question 3

Will it be compatible with the ruger american 9mm?

Accepted Answer

The Hogue model 17000 will work with the Ruger American 9mm.

Question 4

Will this fit a ruger 57 as it is listed under the 57 section on ruger's website?

Accepted Answer

I'm personally not familiar with the Ruger 57, but as I read the Ruger website, I see three different listings for grips.
Security-9® Hogue® Beavertail Grip Sleeve - Black
SR9®, SR40® Pachmayr® Tactical Grip Glove
Ruger-57™ Talon Grip Wrap - Black Rubber Texture

The one for the Ruger 57 is a Talon Grip wrap...

As I look at the 57 and the Security 9, two different calibers, two different capacities, and two very different magazines. I would guess that the Hogue 17700 will not fit properly.
