Hot Huez Temporary Hair Chalk - Set of 4 Colors: Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow

These are not a good buy at all do not waste your money, my daughter received them and they are like little clam shells as you can see on the box and they are not well made at all, you barely get any color out of them, she used them once and they performed so poorly that we just gave them away. Super Disappointed!!!!!!!!!!

Bought this as a gift for my 4 year old daughter who kept asking to change her hair color to PINK. She loves it! The color only lasts for a couple hours and some of the pieces are kind of thrown together (one of the sponges has already fallen out of a compact and we've only used it 4-5 times). She is dark blonde and the colors all show up very well, especially the purple. I do love the compacts because it keeps this from being a huge mess! Just wish they were assembled with a little more care.

Use to add accents to my light colored dog. I don't use the recommended conditioner or hairspray, so it only lasts half the day, but looks great

Maybe it is because my daughter is 5 and used the heck out of this stuff, but it only lasted a few days, and the design isn't the best. It pulled on her hair and the sponges kept coming out, which would get chalk all over the floor. I do suggest that you seal it in with the hairspray like it says in the instructions. The color does last until bath time when you do it that way.Overall, not bad. I would probably buy hair chalk in the future; just maybe a different brand.

I agree with all other critical reviews. Do not buy this product!!! It is very cheap, messy, total waste of money. The box was damaged and open when I received it despite a good amount of bubbly cushioning. When I took the box out, the plastic container slipped out and one of the compacts dropped on the floor making a mess all over the kitchen floor. So I lost one of the four, so much for my daughter's birthday present... The rest of the chalks worked ok, they didn't leave a straight streak, but rather a dotted line (at least the way my 10-year old girl managed to apply it). If you touch the hair, the chalk dust would come out and will be on your fingers or clothes, or pillow (if you dare sleep with this stuff on). Maybe it is woth a dollar or two, but definitely not $7 or more.

My granddaughter loves it, super easy to apply for a 10 year old. The colors are vibrant and wash out easily.My only complaint, if I had to say, would be that if they touch their hair often, it comes off on their hands. My granddaughter habitually pushes her hair behind her ears, and after a short time she ends up with colored fingers.I'd recommend it mostly if you plan to tie the hair up, rather than leave it loose.

I bought this to "test" the placement of highlights before I did it with the permanent dye. They are super cute! The little pod design is good, but would be nice if the chalk was closer to the edge so you can get all the way down to the root. It does get EVERYWHERE if you don't finish it with hairspray, but hey, it's chalk. They were very vibrant the first day, and started to disperse a bit through my hair the second day. There was a very faint bit left in my (blonde) hair after I washed, but not enough that anyone but me would probably even notice.

This was for my 5 year old's Halloween outfit. They were pretty easy to use, one of the colors came unglued from its container but we were able to still use it carefully. The colors are not that bright, you would really have to apply over and over to make them really bright, but they were easy to use, the directions were simple, and the product washed right out with nothing left behind. Probably won't use them again since they were just for Halloween, but I'm going to pass them on to my 13 yr old neice.
