Beautiful gift for anyone- even you!
I got this as a COVID-19-induced "just because" gift-to-me. I'm a nerd for stuff like this and I was overwhelmed by the variety to choose from. I settled on this pen and am very satisfied with the quality. The feather is beautiful, the packaging makes it easily giftable as is and the ink was packaged in such a way leaking wasn't a huge concern. It DOES come with ink- some only come with an empty bottle. The tips seem decent quality although I don't do calligraphy so I can't speak to that.A concern I had was that the decorative crown on the front of the handle would be obnoxious and make it awkward to hold but it's fine.This pen exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy!

Beautifully made
I got a wax stamp for the holidays and decided that I wanted a better pen prop to go with it. When i ordered it I wasn’t expecting much except for it will look great in a distance.I was really surprised how greatly made it was. The feather was beautiful! The pen points that came with it was very beautiful. It looks very sturdy and the writing style is beautiful.As a bonus it came with paper that is beautiful. Perfect for my initial practice of penmanship and getting ready to send out beautifully written letters.

It is definitely a good gift.
I originally planned to buy a calligraphy kit as a birthday gift for my sister, but when I received this product, I found it was really exquisite and of good quality, so I used it myself.LOL. I have always thought that writing calligraphy is a matter of skill, but I never realized that having the right tools can make it so easy and enjoyable. So I will buy her another set, which is definitely a good gift.

Great set!
No problems with my ink bottle or the quill thus far. i'm using it to practice calligraphy. its beautiful and makes me feel like im in the world of harry potter when scrawling away random notes with this set.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter— it comes in a lovely box and the feather is truly gorgeous. Haven’t used it yet, so can only rate on aesthetics/ giftability. So happy with it as a gift for her!

Great quill pen, cheap ink and nibs. Would buy only for quill which I would rate 5 ⭐️
I really like the quill pen. I couldn’t get writing at all! The fine ball point works well. When I changed my ink and got nibs from Speedball, it was a whole new world. Ink is is watery. I love the actual quill pen though. I would by the pen again but I wouldn’t attempt to use their ink or nibs...
