Fits!
I had originally purchased another one which fit except my buttons didn't line up correctly so I purchased this one. I looked up the model number first this time!! It went on easily and seems pretty secure and buttons line up! The plastic part didn't really "snap" into place but the rubber part holds everything together.

Would not buy again
So far it has done its job in the month since Christmas. However the rubber outside is stretchy and doesn't seem like it will hold up long term. My other cases that are similar have done much better at protecting through many drops not sure how this one will do after a few.

will not prevent screen cracking
it fits well on the ipad. except it's not much for protection. my son dropped his ipad a short distance and the whole screen shattered in this case. Then I had to essentially break it to get it off...
