Great fountain and support team
I gave this fountain a 5-star rating for two reasons. 1. It looks good, sounds good when running and was easy to assemble. 2. I did have one problem. The center brass tube that goes from the pump and holds everything together above it the upper nut was cross threaded, when I tried to move it , the tube twisted and then was unusable. I called alpine customer service and spoke to a service rep named Eve and explained the situation to her. She said the part I needed was not available as a replacement part and would instead send me a new fountain. All I had to do was send a couple of pictures, the batch number and a copy of the sales receipt. After I did that , I had the new fountain in less than a week.I just want to say thanks to Eve and her team she worked with, They were all outstanding.

Super cute fountain & Great Customer Service!
I liked the size, design and affordability of this little fountain. I have a small deck outside my room that I made into a retreat as it’s enclosed with bamboo reed screen for privacy and ambiance. After adding seating, many plants, solar lights and other decor, I wanted a water feature, specifically the sound of water cascading. I needed something that would fit size wise and of course, look nice. I found this fountain and felt it fit perfectly for all my wants and needs, it is very budget friendly and arrived in just a couple of days. Upon its delivery, I immediately unboxed it to assemble, which was quick and easy. I know others said they needed to make modifications but I just followed the directions and it went together easily and as expected so, maybe there have been adjustments made on their end? After assembling I filled full of water before turning on and once plugged in, it was just as advertised and water was cascading down from the top tier into the bottom bowl. It looked and sounded great! I was very pleased with my purchase and took video which I sent along to friends and family who were all surprised at its price point and thought it was really cute. I don’t keep it running continuously but only when home and have my door open so I can hear the water. I sit out on my deck in the early mornings and in the evenings after work because it’s so relaxing, the fountain definitely helped me achieve the goal of creating a nurturing and relaxing space. Then this past weekend I noticed the water level was rapidly dropping and then noticed my rug was getting soaked. I unplugged it immediately to investigate what could have happened? I had not had any previous issue whatsoever with its performance at all. I refilled it back to the recommended level in an attempt to try and find the leak but couldn’t seem to locate it. I kept trying for a couple of days as I was really bummed not to have my water feature…I just couldn’t figure it out and I couldn’t use it anymore so, I got on Amazon to see what could be done…the 30 day return window had come and gone, I was bummed. I decided to reach out to the seller & honestly, was not expecting much but boy was I pleasantly surprised. Not only did they get back to me in a timely fashion responding right back to my email. They acknowledged my issue, verified my purchase and told me not only that a new fountain was on the way but not to worry about sending back the old one and to keep it for parts just in case! Wow!!! Not what I was expecting or what is typical, GOOD customer service is hard to come by and because of this, I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again. I had already shared videos etc with friends and family as previously stated and I know at least one of them want to purchase the same fountain. I will encourage them to do so for sure. It shouldn’t matter the cost of an item purchased, it should perform as promised and if not, it should be made right which was exactly how this situation was handled by the seller, with integrity and professionalism. What an all around good experience it has been to buy this product from this seller, I’m stoked on the fountain and the seller👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👊🏼

Nice bird bath with some design flaws
So 4-stars, because it was $60. Much more than that and it would have dropped down to 3-Stars. That said, it looks really nice. Neighbors commented on it looking tranquil in the garden. The tiers with water trickling over each is very soothing. Can't comment on whether birds are actually drawn to it, as i have two other baths. Tough competition! =) Couple of design issues. 1st - getting the pump to proper seat in the pump mount was a chore. Ignore the instructions and attached the mount to the bottom tray first. This keeps mount in place and stable while you struggle to get the pump to sit correctly. Then getting the copper tubing with a 1/2 rubber grommet to fit inside the pump was additional challenge. 2nd issue was that the treading on the pieces will take a few attempt to get it to take without being tilted one way or the other. This was mainly on the base and the main post. Minor, but if you dont get it right... the fountain will not flow evenly. 3rd - the pieces that make up the tiers ( think 5 all together) are all just sitting on the copper rod. They move freely. Only the top piece is treaded to hold the other sections in place, sort of. Need to pay attention and try your best to get each piece sitting perfectly level.... if not fountain will flow unevenly. They just needed something to make sure the pieces were sitting correctly. A simple groove for them to lock into. I thought my pavement was the issue and after playing around, i noticed some of the free moving pieces were slight off to one side or the other. Little annoying but playing around with each piece you can now attach the cap which is treaded and will pushdown on the other sections to hold it in place. If you have a tilt someplace, start again. Let me qualify I am a tad OCD. I couldnt have the water trickling over one half while the other side didnt flow at all. So theres that! 4th - When it comes time to clean the pumps strainer, you have to pull the pieces apart to get to the pump. With Flaw #3, this will add to your fun and you have to tinker a little to get your flow out of each basin evenly. Now there are little inflow cutouts on the 1st part of the tier setup. Might be worth placing something to catch debris before goes inside the base and into the pump. Like mesh screening or that sponge-like filter you see on most pumps. This will save you from undoing the tier pieces to get to the pump. It is a very lovely fountain. Just know that there may be some added work to keep it running and level. Knowing now you can be a little more prepared than I was.

Bad choice, dead bird
I liked this fountain at first, even though it’s quite obviously a cheap plastic imitation of antiqued metal. It worked well enough and the birds didn’t worry about aesthetics. I enjoyed the sounds of water and birds. Then last week tragedy struck and we found a little sparrow drowned in the largest bowl. When I bought the fountain, I was focused on the bubbler on top to hopefully attract hummingbirds. None came, but sparrows and starlings came daily. The larger concrete birdbaths in the yard got all the action from the other birds. At the fountain, at first the birds only perched and sipped. I noticed that none landed on the upper tiers—they’re too small. The large bottom bowl, though, has a wide and slippery edge that’s hard for the birds to grasp onto. Sometimes the little ones slipped in accidentally and scrambled out. Eventually, some starlings got the courage to bathe, and a few sparrows too but they were cautious. Then last week, while no one was watching, a sparrow either tried to bathe or accidentally slipped in from the edge and couldn’t get enough footing to get out. All the while, it was getting soaked by the dripping from the tier above. I’m heartbroken over the struggle it had that ultimately failed. I didn’t think it was deep enough to add rocks and maybe it wasn’t the water but the struggle that doomed that little creature. Either way, I can’t recommend this fountain. I will be getting rid of mine and I will destroy it because I don’t want anybody else to take it from the curb and put it in their yard. The fountain has at least three fatal flaws: the main bowl is too deep and slippery for small birds to bathe without rocks; the rim is too wide and slippery for birds to grip; all the tiers, including the main bowl, are too small for bathing. In the main bowl, especially, birds can’t bathe without being drenched from above. I’ve since added rocks to the bowl, but now we worry that the water level will fall too low for the pump so it’s not running. It’s just a mute reminder of a bad choice and a dead sparrow.

Beautiful fountain, but hard to assemble
It is difficult to put together, especially the pump itself. They don’t give you clear directions on how to attach it and how the holes match up. I found a YouTube instruction video, but it still did not show all the details of the pump which is the hardest and most necessary details. It took us about two hours to figure it out other than that once it is assembled it looks very nice and brings ambience to your yard

Cheap and great!
Let's be clear. This is not a fancy solid fountain. It is a cheap plastic fountain that is great for what it is. QUALITY AND FUNCTIONALITY: Some people complain that is cheap plastic, and yes, it is. But it does not pretend to be anything else. I think the appereance is fairly nice for a plastic fountain. Why do I like it? Because at the moment I am not ready to neither build a nice rock and mortar fountain or spend 300 dollars in buying a nicer and more robust product for my yard. Yet, it serves my purpose: enjoy seeing birds drinking when they are thirsty or taking a bath when they heat is high. This cheap easy fountain is doing so. I have seen birds drinking and bathing more than a dozen times in a month! For me that has already cover the 35 bucks I paid already. Sure, you want to make sure is not in the way, so you dont bump on it. If is going to be windy you may want to put some weight at the base or anchor it to the ground somehow. But still... the tip over problem is completely preventable. Will it last more than a year? I dont know... but if it works for at leas one or two seasons it will be still a good buy. ASSAMBLY: As for the assambly, the process is fairly simple, except for cramping the pump in its place. It takes some patience to find the right angle for the pump and the cable to fit on the space. Just do not push too hard and to try to do it too quick (I did it waching pictures of this in the Amazon reviews). I recommend this product. ELECTRICITY BILL: I asked chat gpt how much it would cost per month to run this 5w pump 8 hours a day for 24 days per month. Withe the price in New Mexico of .13 per KWH , the calculation came down to 12.5 cents per month! I placed this fountain in a smart plug with timmer controlled over my phone... so it runs on a schedulle... it feels like a nice addition to enjoy more time in our yard!

Perfect birdbath for sparrows and hummingbirds, and bees love to drink
This is the second one I’ve purchased. The first one worked perfectly and the finish just faded overtime cause I didn’t spray it with a sealant, and the pump died out. I had it for like four or five years. There’s nothing else in this price range that is like this with the three levels, unless you wanna pay $200 to $600 for a nice concrete or ceramic one. This is perfect for small birds, like sparrows, and hummingbirds. They like to rinse off their beaks and take a little bath, which, as we know, it’s very hard for hummingbirds to find an appropriate place to bathe. The bees actually love to drink out of it too, so if you’re looking for something that can satisfy all three of those this is perfect. I do recommend adding Aviclense water conditioner, that you can purchase on Amazon, to keep the slime down and also the germs because bird baths can get very germy, obviously. So I put seven drops in there every time I add water. I will either change the water with the hose and just spray it out every day or I’ll just add water every day because so many birds bathe in it. I just imagine it’s very germy. When you’re assembling it just make sure to feed the power cord through the tubing down to the base and then you can just pull it up through one of the holes in the base. When you’re putting the pump connection to the fountain spout you can use a 1/2” wrench T.O. tighten and loosen it to the appropriate height to fit the pump in there and then push down the fountain rod tightly into it. One problem I had with my old one was that it wasn’t secure enough or low enough and it would get loose, and it wore out the plastic part that holds it there so that’s probably the most important part, in addition to not letting it dry out. But It’s very easy to assemble and clean out and if you use the water conditioner, it doesn’t get that bad. The only time I get slime is in the summer because it sits right in the sun, but it’s just a little bit. I know this is very wordy. I just wanted to help whoever was interested in this as much as possible.

Overlooking flaws to enjoy the price.
Where do I start? One hour to try to get the pump in place. It’s so forced that you think you’re not doing it right. No answer when you call company! Remaining parts go in place easily. Lightweight. Because it’s plastic, basin isn’t level no matter how many times you screw it in to the plastic pole base. The water won’t flow as shown unless it is perfectly level. I used shims to get it perfectly level. I figure for the price, I may not return it. It’s quiet if that’s what you’re looking for (like a trickling sound) even when pump is at full throttle. It’s attractive and looks like it’s worth a little more. Just beware that unless it’s PERFECTLY level (plastic basin was not), water flows only on one side. Having said all that, I got what I paid for and will adjust with shims so water flows nicely. Worth the price and frustration.

Love my water fountain
It’s a great bird bath and water fountain. Easy to assemble. The birds love it. I have it on a timer to turn on and off automatically. I don’t run it through the winter. It’s plastic but looks good. Hasn’t ever tipped over. You have to keep adding water to it every day or couple days depending on birds using it. And don’t forget to clean it at least once a week. Happy birding.

Not returned
Not worth the money , the pump was defective, still trying to return the product but Amazon has not picked it up yet .

Great fountain that attracts birds
Beautiful fountain, easy to assemble, looks great in a garden, attracts a wide variety of birds (given the fact that we are in the city). I even purchased a second one since I was so impressed. Fountain requires a little addition of water every morning. I looked elsewhere for the same fountain but found them at 3 times the price. Very pleased, I only wish that the plug would be 3 feet longer....but this is not a big deal.

Stand
It works fine.Pump seems to be good. It is a little to flimsy for the stand. It does not want to stay sitting up straight.
