As a working mother, chronic volunteer, chef, driver, etc, I have often thought of myself as chronically stressed. Although I usually handle it on the outside well I have always known it is taking a toll on my body. Exhaling Anxiety is a straight forward book on what causes it, how it effects us and our families as well as a simple solution to help manage the daily stress of our lives. It is an easy to understand cause and solution book that is good for anyone living with any level of stress. I highly recommend it and I think you will breathe easier and learn to stop and enjoy life more if you read this book!

This book delivers on breathing techniques, but it contains so much more...
I've had anxiety all my life, but have only started reading books about it the past few years. I'd heard about breathing techniques and that's why I bought this book. I was pleasantly surprised at all the other subjects it covered, especially the chapters on panic attacks. It provides a handful of ways to make them "burn out" faster than the natural progression. It was almost one of those "why didn't I think of this before" things, but now I know! One of the unique things/philosophies that this book talks about (I highlighted the passage) was that stress management is not all about eradicating stress, but using stress to our advantage when we can, and dealing with the other stress properly. I found that very helpful.

Really Helps
I recently experienced severe kidney trauma which significantly altered my quality of life. I've woken up with anxiety every day since, as I've literally had to adjust every aspect of my day to day activities. Following the teachings in this book I've been able to severely reduce my overall anxiety levels and approach life with a new mindset.
