Nice Color
EDITED: I had complained about the staying power of this color (see below), but I'm taking it back now. I had originally dyed this over hair that I had bleached myself. It wouldn't lighten all the way to "inside of a banana peel" near-white. The blue took okay at first, but faded really fast and turned greenish. Eventually I had my hair re-bleached at a salon. Now it's been more than a month since I did the blue and I've done only one minor touch-up around the roots. The rest looks great. It changes quite a bit, from a dark Cookie Monster-type blue to a much lighter blue as I wash it, but all the stages are nice. If you don't pre-lighten enough, though, it can fade to green.OLD REVIEW: I love Pravana violet, which has pretty good staying power, but I dyed with this blue less than two weeks ago (over bleached hair) and it's already faded out on the ends and roots. Less than two weeks, and I wash every other day. I do wash with warm water, which I know is not as good for staying power as cold water, but a woman has her limits. ;) It's a very nice, vibrant blue, and it didn't stain anything... if only it would last longer. Fade-out color gets a little greenish with the bleach under it.

Long-lasting bright blue
Love, love, love Pravana Vivids! I'd used Punky Color when I first added blue to my hair and while I loved the color, it faded fast -- like within days, even before it was washed. Pravana color stays in for months. Obviously it does much better if you bleach first. I've attached a photo to show both bleached and non-bleached. My hair is color treated with drug store red, then the ends were bleached, then it grew out for a few months and I re-colored with Pravana without bleaching the new areas I colored. So, the bottom of my hair is on pre-bleached and the middle is on top of red-color treated (which turned green). There is a mix of Pravana blue (the dark blue) and blue & teal mixed together (the lighter blue). The first photo was taken in January, and the second was taken in April to show how blue it still is months later.Edit: I notice other reviews that mention the color bleeding. I've not had that experience at all. The only time it bleeds any color is when washing; it doesn't even bleed when I get it wet if I don't use shampoo.

Amazing color even a month later
I've had this color for over a month now and it hasn't faded at all. I have blue by Pravana on the top with the purple on the bottom. I only use shampoo on the roots and conditioner on the purple bottoms, I do mix some blue with the shampoo so it adds color every time I wash it. I only wash and condition my hair 2 times a week and use dry shampoo the other days. This did bleed badly for me the first 2 washes I would recommend washing in a stainless steel sink if possible-also lukewarm to colder water hot water will take the color with it. Also I put my hair in a shower cap while in the shower as I like hot hot showers and don't want it pounding on my hair. Yes it is work but it's the price you pay for bright unnatural hair color but for the money you can't beat it. When I applied it I did only keep it on for 30-45 mins but my hair was white/silver. I naturally have dark brown hair so my hair did take a few bleaching sessions but well worth it in the end.

I don’t think it was worth the mess
Uhhhh okay kinda mixed review, the color and the consistency is nice but be prepared to literally turn your entire shower/sink and towels blue forever. This shit stains so bad. Your skin will be blue as well. It’s gonna get all over your pillows and neck even hatter washing out . This stains horribly. I spent HOURS cleaning this off my body and shower. My hair does look really pretty, royal blue but it was such a struggle. If you have ever used splat hair dye, the staining is similar, if not worse.

Awesome!
I bought this in May and finally used it in June. It was vividly dark blue on the blonde parts of my hair and slightly less blue on the brown parts. I loved it and need to do it again, though, six months later, I can still see a blue tint on my hair. I use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner as well as avoid ultra hot water, so I'm sure that helped. It didn't bleed much either. I did purchase a deep cleansing powder from Sally's prior to putting in the color which I think really helped. I did not add anything to it, just put it on my hair straight. I need to get my whole head touched up so that I can add some fun blue stripes in again!

Color to die for
It met all my expectations. The color showed up very well on my hair considering it had to be bleached alot and not all of the color i had on previously was removed. I would definantly get more should it fade. Ive gotten many compliments on it. I would like to note it took 2 tubes to cover my whole head that however is normal for me and my hair. I will say though, it did stain my shirt so i wouldnt recomend wearing white right after dying your hair. The frist picture is after i got it done the first day, i did have a professonal dye and bleach my hair. The second picture is after the first wash

Stains everything
The color is beautiful but my goodness it stains. I've washed my hair twice now and it's still staining everything. Even when dry, it turns my forehead and ears blue. When I tie my hair, my fingers turn blue. This is not worth all the staining. I have to be careful not to wear light colored clothing until I can wash all of this dye out. :(

Beautiful Bold Long Lasting Color
I have been playing around with fun color hair dyes for a couple of months now. This brand came highly recommended. I love its ease of use and that it comes in a tube. I simply put the color onto my coloring brush an apply to my hair. I also like the texture/ thickness of the creams as they aren't messy and don't get all over or drip. The blue color stays vibrant quite awhile in my hair I reapply every week since I like the color to be a deeper darker color.
