Cytron 10A DC 7-30V Potentiometer and Switch Control Motor Driver Speed Controller

I don't know what was going through my head when I did it but I connected everything backward even though everything is labeled well. My DC power supply was flashing and the motor was running every time it flashed. I thought I blew it. I connected everything back up properly and it works like a charm. Very well made!

This product is beautifully and precisely made and fit our needs perfectly. The speed control and switch for the exhaust fan in our RV failed. This was small enough to fit behind the faceplate and retrofit the controls so it doesn't look out of place. And, even better, we can now have the fan blow in or out, whereas before it only blew out! I highly recommend this product.

I powered it with 28 vdc at 9 amps. At first the controller appeared to be functioning perfectly. As I moved the knob, my amps decreased and increased smoothly. Then, the main cap blew. Smoke jetted out of it as I quickly shut off the power just before evacuating the room.Very disappointing. I'm now logged into their support forum. If I find any help there that can explain if I have done something wrong to destroy this controller, I will come back here an delist this review or modify it.

I've been looking for a solid state motor speed controller for years. I made a steering device for my trolling motor and have been using mechanical relay controllers with it for years now. I need to have them as small in size as possible to fit in the enclosure. The one I use now is 3 amp and that is at its limit for what it's connected to. I guess I've been searching the wrong sites as I've never seen a solid state controller this size with the functions that I needed. Forward-reverse with a pot. This fits perfectly and has 3 times the power output of the no name controller. Shipping was super fast and came very nicely wrapped. It even has a brand name print on it! None of the others do as there sold by many sellers at different prices. This is a quality item!

Really nice to plug and go with motor control. No need to program an Arduino.

On the other hand, I wish if they did house this great unit; even a plastic housing will do
