DAVID Roasted and Salted Jumbo Sunflower Seeds, Sour Cream and Onion Flavor, 5.25oz.

Wanted something different as no one around where I live sells David's in any other flavor than plain. I feel like the quality of David's has gone down the the last few years. They used to be pretty large but they have gotten smaller it seems. Big's is the new king. David's seeds also splinter quite a bit and the shards get stuck in my teeth or the back of my throat. Big's split in half nicely. Anyway, they're not bad for something different.

I love sunflower seeds. I came to try these out and they were fresh and arrived as promised. The only weakness is that there is not a strong enough flavor to keep my taste buds happiest. Add more seasoning and these will be just as good as the ranch flavor! Thanks!

I haven’t met a bag of David’s Sunflower Seeds that I didn’t adore. I absolutely love sour cream and onion flavor too, but I admit these are not the boldest or most lasting flavor. The ranch definitely beats this one out unfortunately. They’re still delicious, but only for about 3 seconds.

These were a BIG miss. They weren't tart, they weren't tangy, they were just lacking. I ate just a few and thew the whole bag away. I love SC&O flavored chips and that was the taste I was expecting. That flavor profile is pretty universal across brands... this product missed the mark.

I decided to get sunflower seeds to snack on while watching the 2020 MLB playoffs. I figured, since the players can't eat them this year due to COVID restrictions (but they're still spitting away out of habit, which MLB apparently has no issue with), at least I can enjoy some seeds--and spit right along with the players!Sunflower seeds are, let's face it, not in themselves the most flavor-filled treat. I've never tried flavored ones before, but clearly it's now a thing. I got some BIGS Dill Pickle as well as this and another David flavor, B-B-Q. I haven't tried the others yet, but this sour cream and onion flavor is pretty good. Girly, right?What I don't like is that although the package says these are JUMBO, they're not. They are, in fact, disappointingly tiny. I haven't eaten sunflower seeds in decades, but I do recall that they were once far bigger. I wonder if they're now picking them too early, before they've reached maturity, or if the plants are grown in depleted soil.

Was forced to order these because my local store doesn’t have the flavor anymore. Best flavor they make by far!

I buy sunflower seeds for my daughter so she can have something crunchy to eat and she LOVES these! She can't wait to get more. She's only eleven, but she usually eats the whole bag in one sitting.
