I wanted something special for the first grandchild of an old friend. I knew from past experience that Amazon carried very routine, ordinary baby clothes, but I love shopping through Amazon, so I went there to look, not expecting much. I saw a few pages of what I expected (nothing I would buy) and then I saw this! I bought the dress and the matching bonnet without hesitation and when it came, I was so glad I did. The fabric is amazing, very light and soft as a kitten's ear. Nothing that will scratch or annoy the baby. Merino wood and silk, Warm, long wearing, beautiful. Additionally, the style is charming and Mommy-friendly. The underpants are attached to the dress and have two snaps at the bottom. Easy to change diapers. Even the color is unique....Sophisticated silver sage green. Also comes in a plum color. If the parents and grandparents are as pleased to receive this ensemble as I am to give it to them, I may very well purchase the plum in a larger size.

Love this dress bodysuite! Purchased the 1year old size and it fits my chubby 8 month old perfectly.. Hoping I can get use out of it all winter long before she grows out of it! Love the feel and look! Also purchased the matching balaclava and love that too!
