Blue Lagoon Ceramic Guitar Slide (Medium)

The choice of a slide is such a personal matter that it is difficult to write a review that applies to everyone. I think this is a terrific product. The large fits my ring or pinky finger perfectly. So large means large which is not always the case with slides. I love the sound it produces and it is easy to select specific strings. This is especially important if you are playing a Strat which has a curvature to the fretboard. I was able to use it on my Strat but it was difficult, but possible, which I cannot do on many other slides. If you have an even surface on your fretboard (my Ibanez and Epiphones, for example) this is a sweet ceramic slide. The only problem I can think of is that the best ceramics are expensive and I have dropped a few over the years—they break!

I keep coming back to this slide. In fact this is my 2nd purchase to keep in my Martin D-35 case. I really want to like those blues bottle slides, but they won't stay on my pinky and they're closed on end. I use slide on my pinky to free up the other three fingers, even though I have more control I think with ring finger. This medium Blue Lagoon one won't fit over ring finger knuckle. These are well made, beautiful, and reasonably priced. Not sure what's up with the 1 star rating. What'd the guy expect he was getting besides a thick, fairly weighty slide?

It’s a pretty good slide, the thing is that is light so you can move it really fast and smooth. l bought the medium size and it fits perfectly in my ring finger and my pinky.I’m not a bot by the way.

This is seriously one of the best slides I have ever used! I love how smooth it is, and the added weight from how thick the slide is just makes for incredible tone! I personally sized down from my normal ring finger size so that the slide sits at my second knuckle instead of the whole finger, and for me, it’s perfect.

Very attractive design. The materials are high-quality and the feel is light. Comes with a very cool little drawstring cloth bag. Not so heavy that you constantly over-compress and hit the frets. Feels nimble and comfortable. Works great.

Love the look and feel of the product. Light weight and stays on perfectly. But I need a slightly concave surface and it is not long enough for me to span two frets on an angle from 1st string to the 5th string, which I do every day. Except for these needs of mine, I absolutely love it and wish I could use it. I have no slide that looks and feels better to me.

This will probably be the best slide you'll ever buy. It's heavy, but very smooth on the strings. I've used glass and brass before, but this tops it. It also looks fantastic! Highly recommend for professional slide players. If you're a junior or intermediate (i.e. <25 years of guitar playing), you'll also enjoy it, but probably not sound that good until you practice for about 5-10 years.

Sieht gut aus, ist nicht zu teuer und funktioniert.Das Bottleneck ist angenehme leicht mit einer schönen Materialdicke.Meins hat ein paar Bläschen in der Lasur. Es hält sich aber in Grenzen und beeinträchtigt das Spielen nicht.Also ausprobieren und Üben 😄.

Having just recently got back into playing acoustic/slide guitar i realky wanted to try a different slide. Ive always used Jim Dunlop sludes, glass, brass and steel. Preferring the brass slides overall. But the one I have is well over 10 years old. I thought Id treat myself to something different and really liked the look of these. And boy do I not regret it! Fits very comfortably on my pinky, with a bit of room to spare and plays beautifully. Very smooth with warm tone and actually very loud. This slide has actually improved my tone and playing. Will definately be buying more in a range of colours. Looks cool and plays really well. Best slude ive ever bought.

It's warm. Glassy but not harsh. Been using a lot of slides, but this is my favorite!
