I agree with other reviewers here: the piece is cut to a decent precision, no sharp edges or burrs, and shipped quite flat in a suitable corrugated cardboard envelope with glass fiber tape. My purpose for it was to use it as a large adapter to sit between induction cooktop and an equally large BellaCopper plate. Unfortunately, the extreme heat of the 1800W induction cooktop caused the steel to bow and warp upward and away from the heated circular center portion of the plate and now it's permanently deformed and won't sit flat. Perhaps that's just the nature of unevenly heating 1/8" steel plate. The larger 3/8" plate I purchased from this vendor didn't noticeably warp this way.TL;DR: Don't buy this if you're looking for a hot plate to pair with your BellaCopper set. Ask for a link to the 3/8" version.

Material edges are clean and straight.

the metal arrived perfectly flat, deburred, clean and had zero contamination or rust on it. would definately purchase again from this company.
