Good Product
I was worried about getting a sketchbook online as I usually go to Michael's or AC Moore to get something cause I'm very sensitive to types of papers (Idk why, just some make me cringe as soon as I touch them...) but this sketchbook is very nice. It has very nice thick papers which I need cause I like to color my work with copic markers. Now copics bleed through to the other side of the same page, as you can see in the second pic. Though it CAN bleed onto the next page if you pack enough layers of copics, though I just slip a piece of printer paper under the page I'm coloring and it catches whatever bleeds through to the next page.Overall great product, I'm very happy with these sketchbooks. Will def buy more once I use up both books :-)

Nice Sketchbooks
I really like these sketchbooks. I bought the 9-inch x 12-inch 110 lb weight wire-bound Mixed Media Pad Premium. I like the size and thickness of the paper. I have used paint pens, Stabilo markers, Crayola markers on these and they all worked well. When using alcohol markers there was some bleed through but that was fine with me since I rarely use the reverse side of a page. This paper will buckle if a heavy watercolor wash is applied but works well with watercolor brush strokes that are not heavily saturated with water.

the micro-perf edge doesn’t detach cleanly
The paper is nice, light texture. So far I’ve used it with acrylic, gouache and pastel, all which do well.Right now I’m using the reverse, smooth side of a page painted with acrylic. So far, it’s almost as if there’s nothing on the textured side.I’d like this paper in a glued pad.My disappointment is in the way the page detaches. No matter how many times I folded the paper along the perf, it does not detach cleanly. Since I have to hand-cut that edge anyway, I’m better off detaching from the spiral. The papers I have with a glued edge detach cleanly, so will be careful in the future to avoid Arteza micro-perforation pads.

Artist daughter loves these!
My teenage daughter is a very gifted artist, which translates into her father and I spending a lot of money on her art materials. Her markers alone are 9 bucks a piece! So these wonderful books are a great value, work well with her markers, and she truly loves them! There are great value and it's hard to get teen approval on anything, and she approves of these!

Not for wet media, not really.
I liked that the surface was smoother and there was a high page count, but, wetted pan watercolours are too much for this paper, even when used fairly dry. I also have the after 5x7 wc paper books and those pages buckle too, but not as much as these, which are only 110lb.I also trulied them with albrect duerer Magnus wc pencils and water brushesso possibly the d riest application of a wetedia there. The buckling was less evident, and 4 color swatches that was okay. I think this paper is better suited to dry media. It just expands too much for wet, and then doesn't shrink back down to flat when it dries.I really would have bought water

Good for the price point
If you are looking for a book to practice mixed media in, this would be really good for that. It does warp some when you add water, but I didn’t try prestretching it. The backside is a little smoother so better for pencils. As you can see in the pictures, I tried a few different dry and wet mediums. First picture is the front of the paper; the second is the back.

Good Gift for Artist, Received Different Cover Design
I ordered this for my niece for Christmas since she's a budding artist and the cover design I received was different than the product photo. What I received wasn't as nice presentation wise. The paper quality is really thick and doesn't bleed through when she colors on it. The spiral binding is a plus so that she can easily turn the pages. Overall, it's good paper and the price was fair for two thick books.

Came damaged
I ordered a two pack of these for my granddaughter to give as Christmas gifts. One was fine the other was damaged. She didn’t feel we had time to return them before Christmas so she kept the good one and we found a replacement gift for the damaged one. The damaged one was still wrapped in plastic so not sure when damage occurred.

Not use for watercolours
Very naughty - says it’s OK for watercolours but paper goes wrinkly straight away .

Is brilliant and the pages goes a long way
Is brilliant, my daughter is happy with it. The only minus is that is quite an expensive product however you get the quality and it does go a long way.

Excellent for many art materials
This product is of high quality and very versatile. It meant that one present provided a very useful surface for experimenting on as well as producing a sensibly sized and beautifully finished art work.
