So far as an EDC it's been great
This is my first experience with this brand, and I know the name and reviews are wonderful and I can't stand a cheap knife I can't trust, so I typically spend a little more for the quality. Thus far as my EDC, it's been solid. The lock feature on this is definitely the best feature, but it does take a little getting used to if you're going to one hand open and close, but very doable. Sharp, durable blade for everything I've used it for, but I haven't really put it through heck just yet. It is a big knife for EDC, but I'm not a small guy, and it fits just fine hanging on my pocket, it just rides further into the pocket than my usual EDC which is a more standard size carry. It's been a good knife and I'll update this if that changes.

TOUGH, BIG & Gorgeous!!
I love large “over-built” (no such thing😎) knives, and this one is awesome! So it might not boast a “high-end” steel, but to me this knife is worth every penny. After some fidgeting and using, the action is superb as well. The Deadbolt lock is tough, and the blade is straight up beautiful! I have other large, even more expensive models of similar size, and the CRKT Seismic is among my favorite. For those having any difficulties with either the action or lock, just add a couple of drops of knife lube and it breaks in wonderfully!

Another Great CRKT Knife.
I have long appreciated the value and craftsmanship of CRKT. I have many examples of their knives in my collection. This knife is another fine example and a welcome addition. It meets the high standards of materials and workmanship that people buy the CRKT brand for. So, why 4 stars? Because it is designed to be a deep pocket carry knife and trying to draw it out of the corner of your front pants pocket is anything but convenient or smooth. You could pull your pants pocket up into you armpit and still not get the knife free of your pants. I don't understand why more thought is not put into this aspect of the knife's design. It's not that all CRKT Knives have this problem. I own the Jumbones and the Hissatsu and both of these knives draw like a dream. Personally I took the clip off the knife and I carry it in a sheath on my belt.

This is a very nice piece of equipment!
This knife is extremely solid, and very well constructed. At first I thought it might be too long for EDC, but the location of the clip allows it to sit very deep in the pocket. I like the blade design, and have used it it almost daily as a cutting tool. You get a lot of knife for the money. I am quite happy with my purchase.

My EDC knife
Had the knife for a few weeks and I love it. Super sharp out the box. Great locking system. Another great product from CRKT.

Came apart
It open easy. It was nice until the button fell out. The whole knife came apart. Do not buy this knife.

Durability, fit and finish
A little bit larger than I thought it was going to be. In spite of that, I like the construction and the heft hose this particular edge. The handle is on the aquestive side as others have commented about but it works for me. Crkt has really made a nice product for the money. Very impressive.

Takes some breaking in before it flips properly
Just received it yesterday and am quite disappointed with it. The pivot is not smooth, makes scratchy noises, and has several drag spots in the action. Took about 100 flicks before the blade would deploy without wrist action to assist. The scales are okay but the spacer is abrasive ---- sticks out and hits the heel of my hand. I've contacted CRKT about it and asked to trade it for a Linchpin (doesn't have the naked spacer in back). If they won't do that, I'm returning this knife and getting another brand. ADDENDUM: The Flipper action has broken in ---- I mistook the detente tightness for bearing slop. After lots more flips and a quick detente adjustment, it's becoming more and more fun to fiddle with. I'm keeping it. I still don't like the spacer and the handle is a bit sharp in a few places (hot spots) but it's really fun to open and shut with the lock button. Another ADDENDUM: I just spent a few days camping with it and abusing it. Worked great --- but the dang jimping on the spacer is ANNOYING. You can't put your hand in your pocket without losing some skin. So you really can't keep anything else in the carry pocket. sigh I'm going to file the jimping smooth, I guess. Whoever thought out that spacer never used the knife for edc.
