Nustraw Straw Hat Cleaner - Bick Hat Care for Straw Fedora Cowboy Style Hats - Toxic Free

I have a straw fedora that is favorite, now that i have had several bouts of skin cancer. The first weekend I was in my yard getting ready to do a cook. I happened to touch the brim and to feel my hat touch the grill. When i took it off that evening, the hat appears to be a total loss. I have to apply sunscreen every day before I go out. I had stains on my ears from the brim the crown had stains and i had soot all over my fedora.I did a little research and learned about Brickmore Nustraw Straw Hat Cleaner. I ordered a bottle along with a good horse hair brush to take away dust and grime. The brush was ok but it could not get the grime off my hat with a brush alone. The hat cleaner came two days later. I followed the directions and I could not believe the end result. My hat looks brand new. The cleaner lifted every stain out of my fedora. Grease stains from sun screen and sweat. I am so impressed that I will buy more as I need it.

This would be great for a lightly used straw hat. If you use your straw hat for working outdoors and your sweat stains have really done a number on it then this is NOT going to work. What did work for mine was dish soap, dawn or something comparable. Here are the steps...1. Dust off your hat.2. Lightly wipe off with damp cloth.3. Lightly spray hat with clean water to dampen.4. Using a new dish sponge make a lather with dish soap.5. Lightly lather on soap to hat in circular motion.6. Wipe off excess lather with cloth and repeat.7. Once I was satisfied I took a wet clean cloth to wipe off the hat one last time.8. Cover hat with a towel to allow a slow drying process ( I was worried the hat would shrink if it dried too fast).Hope this helps.

This product works great. My white straw buckaroo hat ended up on the dirt floor of the barn. After towel-brushing the dust off, I used this cleaner and it did absolute wonders. I was so thankful to have found this.

Not at all impressed with Bickmore Nustraw Hat Cleaner. Perhaps my hat was too dirty when i started. I will be trying it again on the new hat i had to buy to replace the one that I could not get clean with your product. It was badly stained from rain and my leather hat band. I would not recommend purchasing this to clean your Hat. Your better off wearing it dirty or replacing the hat.

Removed the stains on my straw hat. Now I don't need to find a replacement hat.

Product worked. I used it once on two straw hats. At first, I didn't think it was improving the stains, but after the area completely dried, the stains were gone. I couldn't be more satisfied. Also, the delivery was earlier than promised.

Worked wonderfully. I was about to toss this white straw hat, but with this formulaI was able to revitalize my hat. Worked great removed sweat stains, and dirt. HatLooks ass good as new.
