This item was shipped on time as expected and I installed it. There were no issues during installation and the item works as expected. The adhesive was covered with easy to remove plastic. The fit looks to be just as the one it replaced -- except this one works.Just a warning for those that use sim card adapters -- the reason I needed this replacement is because the sim card adapter I used (gold metal frame that holds a nano sim) allowed the nano sim to fall out and allowed the sim adapter frame to "catch" the tiny, thin, fragile metal leads of the original sim slot. They sheared away without me even knowing. I had to use a powerful magnifying glass to see they were gone. The result is the infamous message about sim card missing upon phone power up. After I replaced the broken sim card tray with this, the sim card is readable again.This is on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The installation was straightforward and relatively easy. However, please be very careful when removing the old sim card tray as the adhesive is very strong. Be careful to avoid flexing the motherboard as this can cause damage. In my case, I think I either flexed it or nicked a small chip-like part that looks like it's covered with thin glass or plastic -- the result is my sensors (gyroscope, magnetic compass, proximity sensor) no longer work.
