Ansel Adams in the National Parks: Photographs from America's Wild Places

Taken in the National Parks that he fought so hard to protect

Would be happy with the book if not dirty cover and one of the pages not kinked/cut properly (both pages stacked together)

Product fine and delivered quickly, but inadequately packaged, simply put in a card envelope, so rather scuffed and bruised.

I was browsing around the National Maritime museum when I saw this expedition was on. I procrastinated about whether to buy a book or not but within a few days of being at home I decided I wanted to and this was the one I went for. I don't regret the decision as it is a great book which makes me wish I was fortunate to have seen even half the wonders that Mr Adams saw.

Recently I visited an Ansel Adams gallery and was captivated by his photography. This book captures his work beautifully, and adds much background information. An evocative trip to a bygone age, an excellent volume of his work.

A wonderful book for any lover of either great photography or great national parks, or both.

Superbly printed and exhaustive. My only complaint is that by no means a small book it should have been made to a larger format.
