I purchased this after reading some positive online reviews and have both Matt and Satin variants which I use extensively in woodworking projects. I am delighted with the performance of these varnishes; they go on easily with a brush or roller and dry quickly (can re-coat in a couple of hours). They do need really good mixing (shaking) before use for best results but that's true of most wood treatments. Will be buying more of this going forward.

Old wood-finish laminate kitchen cupboards were sanded down, sealed and painted with ‘high quality materials’. However within months found the paint chipping/scratching. So repairs undertaken and Littlefairs water varnish (Satin Finish) used to seal the paint to prevent further chipping and scratching. Very easy to apply, used roller for final coat. Brilliant hard finish, no sign of yellowing. Would definitely use again.

Used this as a top coat on my kitchen cabinets; whoever lived here before me and a mess of them!Overall, this is a fantastic product. It goes a long way and was, for the most part simple to use. Just try not to go over parts you've already painted with it and there won't be a problem. Did two coats on a small kitchen and still have some left.Update: over a year later and cabinets are still going strong! No staining, yellowing and easy to clean or even scrub if needed. Plus I still have some of the product left from first purchase! No film or product separating. I am extremely happy with this product and will definitely be buying more!

We bought the Matt to varnish on top of Lick eggshell to give it a more durable finish on our staircase.It took two coats and you definitely need to apply thinly as drips tend to dry as little white blobs. It dries quite quickly so worth keeping an eye out!We chose it because it was low VOC which we required as I’m pregnant and we needed it to be less toxic and fumey. There was a little smell and we used a mask just in case.Hard to tell how durable it is after a few weeks, but so far so good and the finish is nice. It’s quite soft, so reckon it might chip given enough force but hopefully not!

Really easy to apply, love the finish and gave my little project the protective coating it needed from mucky fingers!I have also used it on larges furniture pieces and it did not disappoint.Note: don't use a roller, it dries pretty quick and can leave bubbles on surface. I had to sand it down again and apply with brush for a flat finish.

I brought this as I had a local painter come in and paint my staircase.I asked many times will the bannister need a varnish for protection (he used a water based ‘tough’ paint).No no he claimed..2 days later - the paint is already wearing away and starting to chip…I made my complaints and he offered to repair the marks for just another £200… Nae Nae my friend! J0g on…I’d clocked the paint he used and brought the smallest can possible and touched up the areas that had worn.However I wasn’t prepared to pay high street prices for the varnishes they had, plus none were Matte.I’ll admit I took a risk and brought this as others had added pictures of their projects.I applied the varnish with a foam brush and it dried so quickly!I did two coats and was so impressed, it dried down smoothly, no runs, no horrid smell, it has a lovely texture to it, I’d describe it as crisp linen..you can run your hands over it and know it’s there.I was that impressed that I applied it to an Ikea desk that hadn’t been painted - reason being it that Ikea furniture can quickly get little scratches and it’s a pain in the you know what to colour match and film in the cracks.This varnish took away the sheen on the Ikea desk and had added a layer of protection to it.The bannister is still perfect too!Give this a try - it’s fool proof to apply!

Due to Covid had to wait 2 weeks, due 17th April. Supplier marked as despatched 12th April, but the courier showed this was not collected by them until 17th April. Arrived 22nd and had no communication from supplier. Very very easy to apply. I used both an air compressor and paintbrush.. It's quite runny and ran on low pressure. however, it was easy to catch the drips straight away and didn't cause a mess, so that was a big plus. Hardly any smell, big plus. Dried amazingly quick, big plus. Application and drying time then top of my list. (I upcycle an incredible amount) and by far the best I've used at this point. However, was very disappointed with the final finish, it didn't seem to have hardly any sheen and satin should have some! I also noted that the bits that were, were patchy, even though it had been applied with aircompressor. I also put four coats on, don't think you would need this many normally but I used air compressor lol. All in all it is quick and easy and I did like it but don't think it is worth the extra cost and also delivery times bought this down

Good coverage to protect a chalky paint surface ,goes a long way

Facile da stendere, una volta asciutto dona un effetto satinato molto gradevole e una finitura resistente. Tende però a "scaldare" leggermente il tono di colore sottostante, quindi fate attenzione se volete mantenere i bianchi ottici oppure i grigi freddi.

The media could not be loaded.  J'ai commandé ce vernis mat pour vernir des meubles peints ou pour protéger le bois, c'est un très bon produit que je recommande. Cependant il faut prendre quelques précautions comme avec beaucoup de vernis, ne pas l'appliquer dans un endroit trop chauffé sinon il sèche trop vite, faire attention aux coulures également. Rendu parfait sur mon plateau de table en chêne, et testé sur peinture noir à appliquer avec précaution pour éviter les traces, appliqué avec un rouleau en mousse et pinceau pour les moulures!Sur la vidéo je viens d'appliquer sur le deuxième pied filmé, 0 trace !!Je recommande 👌

Genial, he utilizado el barniz mate como protección de un suelo de madera, previamente tintado en blanco, y posteriormente encerado con el wax polish incoloro con un resultado fantástico. Así como para la protección de una encimera de madera. No modifica el color de base. Realmente útil.

Produit conforme à la description qui en est faite. Facile d'utilisation, il semble d'une bonne tenue dans le temps (mais je manque encore de recul). Le fait que l'on puisse nettoyer le pinceau à l'eau est une bonne chose.

Utilise pour protéger un plan de table en bois . Je voulais garder l'aspect mat du bois mais même en couche très fine , l'aspect final est satiné .
