Great alternative to the iron
Great little edgebander. I've used the $30K edgebanders with all the fun and fancy stuff but my small shop cant support something this large. We don't do a lot of frameless construction it's basically used to edgeband the adjustable shelves in our cabinet packages. Set up took a few minutes and we have made some minor adjustments thereafter but this little machine works well. Beats the heck out of using an iron. There is a slight learning curve as to the speed but after you use it for a bit you get the hang of it. I've used it for prefinished and unfinished maple with pretty good results.

Not a bad little tool.
Well as niche tools go this one is defiantly expensive, for a stamped metal table, fence, roller and a heat gun, I feel it is a a bit over priced. ( I think all edge banders are over priced.) But as I said its a niche tool that wont sell a ton of units so you have to pay for development some how I guess. It does work, not great but its main deficiency can be overcome by using over-sized tape. It is far from fine tuned enough to use 3/4 tape on 3/4 stock. For the most part it will center up and run well but as the unit gets hot, then the metal table and parts start to expand and your tape will start to run off center and the edge. Set up is time consuming and kinda of a pain but can be done and as I stated before, it needs some fine tuning to get it running properly. I had some parts out of alignment nothing to bad.So why do I give it four stars? Well it does work, and works pretty good, if you use 7/8 inch tape the alignment problems wouldn't be a factor. You can move a decent pace and the tape really sticks down well and tight on the edges. The table doesn't slip, I pushed on it quite hard and it never moved once on me. The cutter works pretty good if you can remember to use it. It may take a table extension or a second pair of hands to run the long pieces but thats not the units fault. Only one of the boards that I ran needed some attention, so I would recommend you keep and iron handy. For a small shop it will work, but if you have any floor space there are better, bigger edge banders that might suit your needs better and some that wont blow your budget.

Piece of junk
I have a production shop, bought this for doing smaller jobs. Absolutely worthless item. Guides are extremely difficult to adjust properly thye want to twist or go out of level when tightening allen set screw. Guides also rub off the glue at the top and bottom so the edges don't adhere properly and you end up with glue all over the wheel and it is impossible to get off. You also loose 4 " of edge tape at each start. And unless you enjoy getting hot glue adhering to your fingers each time you start a new piece then...... I would have returned this item but I made the mistake of thinking if I just modified it a bit it would work. Well I have spent 2 weeks trying to get this fool thing to work with no satisfactory results. So if you want a free one it is laying out in the field behind my shop.

Easier than using an iron but keeping it adjusted right ...
Easier than using an iron but keeping it adjusted right takes some adapting, the feeder only works with small roles of material.

Fast and efficient.
It is very easy to use. It is fast and efficient. It works a whole lot better that using a hot iron to apply the edge banding. it is also a good buy for the money.

Nice machine
Was afraid this was going to be a foreign peace of junk. Not so. Works very well. So much better and faster than an iron and roller. Made tough and works great

Fairly Decent Machine - Simple Improvements would make it better
It does work after adjusting guides. I am fairly pleased with it and yes it does accept 250' rolls.Cons:The manufacturer could make this a much better machine by having a roll holder - I cut mine out of cardboard and drilled hole in center to stabilize the roll, bit I will make something more permanent. They could also make simple modifications to guide alignments - how about some etched/marked measuring/markings on the guide posts? You really have to smack the cutter (I mean hard) to get it to cut (mark your table for when to cut). These simple oversights by the manufacturer keeps it from being a really nice little machine that would reduce setups and struggles the users go through (read many reviews elsewhere before purchasing). Makes you wonder if manufacturers actually use their machines after designing.

Your life will be easier
Once you understand it,(The good heat for your product) it's a pleasure to work with this machine. It save you time, frustration andit's worth every dollar invested. If I have a recommendation, give more information on heat for different edge banding and also the time to make sure to have the best quality of work.
